Very small city, but it has own lift and it is possible to reach Sella Ronda circle right from it, so you wouldn't need a car if you stay there.
In case you have a car in 10-20 minutes you can rich Corvara (direct lift to Sella Ronda) or Kronplatz.

Such a beautiful place and ideally placed to access the Dolomites and all it has to offer, we just needed more time there. Despite it being out of season, there were good restaurants with delicious food and great wine, very reasonably priced too. We are at the San Leonardo pizzeria just up the road from the apartment and the food was so good. The local Badia pub also serves great pizza and is a hive of activity, even at this time of year with locals and tourists alike. Villages and tourists spots are easily accessible by car, only 5 to 10 mins apart each. There is however limited translation of signs and information in English so some preparation in advance is advised (or Google translate!)

We came to Badia for the Maratona cycle event.
We came to Badia for the Maratona cycle event. I would have liked to see more of the area and stay longer as the scenery was breathtaking and the people on the mountain and in the village were so friendly. The food was delicious!
- Kind and welcoming hosts go above and beyond to make their guests' stay perfect
- Spotlessly clean rooms and hotel (including sauna area)
- Room with the most amazing view of the Dolomites
- Heated ski storage
- Organized frequent free transport to and from ski slopes
- Amazing food (5-course dinner, local and fresh)
- Free aperitivo and (delicious) pizza night every week
We will definitely stay here again when we visit Alta Badia, thanks for everything!
This is a real gem! Great new amenities (saunas, infinity pool). Fine on-site restaurant and huge selection of wines. Very convenient storage room for ski equipment and shuttle service to the slopes. Amazing staff felt like family. Super professional and friendly bartender Ivar made our stay even more interesting and unforgettable so we made a new friend and will definitely plan to return. Thanks a lot to the entire Badia Hill family!
It was the best hotel we had ever stayed in. The hosts gave us the feeling of home. The view from the balcony/terrace is stunning. The room was very clean. The dinner is not a part of initial cost, but without a doubt it was worth every cent and it was the experience in itself. At the last night of our stay we were surprised with something pampering in honor of our honeymoon. Definitely, this place is highly recommended.
First off, Harold is extremely friendly and thoughtful as a host. He will check if you need anything and are happy consistently and is fantastic overall. The breakfast is amazing, and the hotel is very quaint with everything you need provided. The view is stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
A great place for a holiday in Alta Badia. The Pension Enzian is very well located, only 300 m from the Sponata ski lift and close to the center of Badia.
The hosts are very nice, friendly, helpful and open to any questions and wishes.
Local food, which is served in Pension Enzian is very tasty.
We will for sure visit this place again!
It's a great hotel in every aspect. The selection and quality of items in the breakfast was amazing. The breakfast was comparable to 4-start hotels. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was beautiful and had lots of space for our stuff.
This hotel definitely deserves more stars.
The food was very good, the family is very welcoming and the room was very clean and much lather than I had expected.
The location is also ideal for anyone that wants to set out for a multi-day hike from Badia.
I regret not booking this place for a couple more days.
Out of our month long road trip through France, Switzerland, Italy and Sicily this hotel was the highlight. And one of the best we have ever stayed in.
Impeccable design, perfect location. THAT POOL! And the staff were all exceptional and super friendly.
The modern hotel in the centre of Badia/Abtei. Pretty close to the ski lift facilities. Very good breakfast although rather typical for this region. It was one-night stay therefore i have nothing to say about spa or ski-room. Generally recommend.
Close access to the dolomites. The Village has everything you need for a great holiday. Close by stores and ebike rentals. The apartment was wonderful for us 3 adults. Kitchen was clean and facilities were perfect for a good trip.
What a wonderful stay - everything was great. The spa facilities are wonderful. The restaurant was quite good - and the salad bar an excellent deal. The best hotel we stayed in during our five week European trip!
Teresa hotel has very good sport facilities. Large swimming pool , gym and indoor tennis court.
Nice SPA too. It is very close to the ski lift area. It take 5 min walking time.
