The town of Ortisei is a very typical Sud-Tirolean Alpine with lots of wood in use throughout the town for building and local wood carvers. It is a very quiet and peaceful town. Up the road Selva is a more geared towards younger people with lots of apres-ski bars and outdoor music events and bars etc. If you are up for a quiet and relaxing stay, which has lots of nice restaurants and shops, this is it.

The place is excellent — it was my 4th ski travel to this area (Ortizei, Selva di val Gardena), the only huge issue is that there is no direct connections from major airports — Milano, Bergamo, Verona (you could make from one of those). If you don't rent a car — the travel is ridiculous long and require several connections. Comparing to Andorra — there is regular direct bus connection right from the Barcelona airport to Andorra and across Andorra cities+villages (busses and shuttles). I don't understand why this area did not organised something like that, because you built HUGE ski infrastructure and made it complicated to reach it by travellers.

This is really unforgettable.
Excellent hotel complex. Wonderful owners and staff who are completely immersed in the life of the hotel and creating comfort for its guests. Convenient and large two-level Parking. Very tasty and varied breakfasts and lunches, a wide wine list. A large spa complex, where it was nice to relax after skiing. Both of our rooms were with stunning views of Ortisei and the Dolomites. The hotel is clean and cozy. Special thanks for organizing a wonderful New Year's dinner!
The entire hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated, inviting and beautifully designed. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The restaurant was nice; we chose the half board option which included dinner as well as breakfast. Dishes were a bit hit/miss but the buffet items were consistently good. The spa facilities knocked me out, they were fantastic. Indoor pool, multiple steam and sauna rooms, relaxation rooms, delicious tea and snacks, outstanding!
I actually didnt stay in the villa but in their main hotel building. it was wonderful. decorated beautifully, the room felt like a little house with nice little table and a beautiful balcony looking at the magnificent views. shower was great as well. breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruits, eggs, and sweets. bring a bathing suit cause they even have a warm nice indoor pool.
Hotel Hell is a perfect location with ski in and out via a bunny hill that connects to main gondola. Just 2 blocks to center of town. But far enough from town center to be quiet.
Room was huge, with view of slopes and town.
Very nice spa area, ski locker room, and large lobby. In house restaurant is very good.
Staff friendly, helpful....clearly love their job.
Great hotel and resort. Beautiful room with outstanding views from balcony. Everything about our stay was incredible. Friendly staff, excellent service. Breakfast buffet great (you can order eggs any way you like). Optional dinner at 25 euros pp was excellent. Free bus in front of hotel into Ortisei. Pool, spa, gym all excellent. Highly recommend!
I have traveled to over forty countries and have stayed in many hotels. This hotel is at the top of my list. This hotel is fantastic. There is no detail that they have not considered. The food, the staff, the pool, the sauna, even the garage is wonderful. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend unforgettable days.

Everything about Niblea was incredible. The view, the food, the staff, and the facilities all exceeded my expectations. There is a shuttle that will take you down the hill to Ortisei. There is also a bus that runs throughout the entire valley (the hotel gives you a free bus pass).
The family apartment was large and well stocked. We were able to cook meals easily. The hotel was clean, modern, had adequate parking, and was in a great location with beautiful views and a short walk to the center. The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were a nice luxury after skiing.
Very cosy hotel for a stay in the Urijei/Ortisei area of Italy. The staff was so nice and the food was good. Room and bathroom were clean. We only stayed one night, but would definitely book again if we come back.
This was the best hotel experience of our lives. From the incredibly helpful hotel-keep, perfect location, delicious croissants and breakfast items, to the steam room and cold plunge! We felt like royalty.
