Our rooms were clean, the beds sufficiently comfortable, communication polite and thanks to deepL easy, breakfast was good, too. The location is excellent for reaching both the centro storico and Mazzaro beach/Isola Bella. We only stayed for one night and we would consider the hotel to be a good choice for a stay for 1 to 3 nights. We did not travel in the high season and were therefore lucky enough to be able to reserve 2 parking spaces in their inner yard, which was very convenient on our trip throughout Sicily.

Perhaps one of the nicest Hotels we have stayed in. The staff were all absolutely lovely.
The views from our bedroom, breakfast area and the swimming pool terrace were stunning.
Breakfast was 10/10 every day - tastiest food we've eaten in a hotel.
Location was 10/10 if you want to be beachside - if you want to be in the main town you will need to get the gondala up to the top which only takes 4 minutes.

We had an amazing view of Etna as well as the beach from our room and even from the terrace on the top floor. The hotel is up on a hill however only a 10 minute walk from the center. The staff was very helpful and easy to talk to. We would like to especially thank Cristina who helped to organize a taxi for us as well as scooter rental. Meanwhile our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The Jewel in the Sicilian Crown
As you admire crystal-clear turquoise seas from a Taormina piazza swathed in vibrant pink blossom, you could be forgiven for thinking that you were in paradise. The stunning location of this picturesque town is its crowning glory.
However, it’s not its only glory. Surrounded by trees just below the main town, the Greek Theatre is also a triumph. Its largely intact seating offers wonderful views across the stage towards Mount Etna fuming away in the distance. Spine-tingling summer performances are still held here, and several of the town’s bars also offer live music.
Corso Umberto I runs through the heart of Taormina, from Piazza Corvaja to the 13th-century cathedral, and houses many shops and cafés. Midway along is Piazza IX Aprile, whose clock tower and church are overlooked by a rocky hill topped with a castle.
A cable car runs from the town down to the beautiful Taormina beaches (where the train station is also found). At the centre of the W-shaped bay is little Isola Bella, an island nature reserve. To the south-west is the long stretch of sand at Giardini-Naxos, and north is the bay by Mazzaró.
As you would expect of Sicily’s most beautiful resort, there is no shortage of Taormina accommodation on Booking.com, including 5-star hotels on the beach, town centre apartments and luxury B&Bs.

We were unlucky with the weather so didn’t do as much as we would have liked . You’ve got to be aware the hotel is a long way away from centre so might not suit everyone. Good shuttle service though and good view from hotel. Taormina is very crowded

Taormina is a good base-point for tours of Mt Etna.
Taormina is a good base-point for tours of Mt Etna. There are probably more tours running from Catania, but you can get a good tour from Taormina. The city itself is touristy, but clean and well organized. I won't throw the word "safe" out there, as we felt safe everywhere in Sicily, but we felt very comfortable in Taormina. Of course the sights and history don't compare to the bigger places in Sicily such as Siracusa, Palermo, or Agrigento, but that's not Taormina.

The city/village of Taormina was great for sightseeing.
The city/village of Taormina was great for sightseeing. We visited the ancient amphitheater, and enjoyed hiking in the area. There were an abundance of good shops and restaurants to visit. The City public park was a wonderful mix of trees and walking paths with some amazing “follies” - odd and artistic small buildings, built to entertain the eye.

The location of Taormina looking down to the coast is very beautiful. There was plenty to explore for a few days e.g. the Ancient Theatre, the beach at Isola Bella within walking distance or by cable car. For us the highlight was a visit to the hilltop village of Castelmola which provided fantastic views, including snow capped Mount Etna.
The main drawback of Taormina is the fact it is rather crowded even in late April when we visited. Also there are too many shops selling the same tourist tat.
We loved the location! It's in the centre of Taormina. There is a restaurant next to the apartment so throughout the day and evening there is a quite lot of noise, but this can be excepted while staying in the centre of a busy town of course.
If you are staying here longer, the hotel organises trips to go to the beach (with a shuttle and back with rental of bed) for a good price. It was nice to be able to cook for ourselves.
Good airconditioning and clean towels included.
I booked here at the last minute because I wanted to stay 2 more days in Taormina, so I didn't know what to expect. In the end, the house, room, and owners were extremely lovely. The view from the room was amazing, the location is super central, the room was spacious, and breakfast was satisfying. Melina and her daughter were super helpful and did their best to make my stay pleasant. Staying at hotels makes me feel like a tourist, but this place helped me feel like a local
The Hotel Villa Belvedere is in the city of Taormina and a stones throw from the Teatro Antico di Taormina and the botanical gardens. The hotel is simply beautiful with breathtaking views overlooking the sea and Mount Etna. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for a family of 4 which was luxurious and well equipped. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. There was parking at the hotel, albeit at an additional charge. A perfect holiday.
From the wonderfully warm hosting of the staff and the chef to the lovely quiet garden setting, we absolutely loved our stay. We had such a lovely time and learned so much about the sicilian culture and food, we will be back no doubt! Grazie mille to our wonderful hosts! This is the hotel's claim "The Taormina Garden Hotel is a small family hotel where the Guest is a member of the family", that fits perfectly! Don't miss the restaurant and Angelo and Gianluca's cooking!
I liked the homey feel of hotel Natalina, it is very cozy and the staff are amazing & very helpful. They were very kid friendly and even helped with minding the kids, the location was perfect as well and if you are traveling with kids or older members it is very helpful to have the lift. I didn't find many options with a lift around that location so this was a big plus for us. Also the room was spotless clean much cleaner than in some 5 star hotels i have seen.
The staff is extremely careful about service. There is a family atmosphere in this hotel. The breakfast was great. The location is optimal : close to the mail touristic street, but easy to reach with a park. A parking is available (if booked in advance). So it solves the main problem with Taormina : coming with a car.
The view from the roof is magnificient. My room was very large. The view was pretty nice.
I will come back.
Great facilities with all the luxuries you'd expect from a 5 star location. Breakfast had all the conceivable food options available.
Excellent rocky beach with amazing clear water, and bungalows are all within 50 meters of it. Taormina is a lovely town, probably best in all of Sicily. Note that it takes at least half an hour to get there, as you have to take either the cable car or the bus.
A charming hotel with views of the water away from the bussel of Taormina center. Nice pool amenities and access to public transportation nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff on directions and points of interest to see and places to eat. Communication was easy as staff speak more than one language. A shout out to Melo who greeted us every morning for breakfast and makes a great cappucino!
Fabulous hotel near the sea between Taormina and Naxos! Our rom was much bigger than we expected and had a large balcony. The pool was also big and had great views. The breakfast was great. Free outdoor parking available near the property. It’s about 20 mins’ walk steep uphill to the centre of Taormina but the views on the way are beautiful. Would definitely recommend this place!
The location is ideal. You have beach access and a free shuttle to Taormina that leaves regularly. The hotel is cute, and the service was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again! I had a room on the ground floor on the back side but would recommend getting the sea view with a balcony, as they get more light.
Beautiful location with amazing views. Grand hotel which would benefit from a refresh of the room we were in. A little more thorough cleaning would also improve the guest experience.
Best breakfast of our 10 day trip on a beautiful patio overlooking the ocean.
Also has parking which is hard to find at this hotel price point in Taormina.
the location was perfect. A nice easy walk to the centre of Taormina and the shops, restaurants and bars. The most amazing view from our sea view room and public areas of the hotel such as pool, breakfast room and drinks terrace. Room was typically Italian, basic but clean. Lovely cleaning staff for our room.
Amazing hotel right in the centre of Taormina. Every room has a gorgeous balcony with a sea view. The pool is perfect to relax for the day.
The hotel location is perfect, right around the corner from the Main Street and all the restaurants and bars. Would recommend staying here.
The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Rooms were clean and bathroom was spacious, clean and had everything you’d ever need. We had a big balcony overlooking Taormina and the water which was so nice. I could have stayed longer. The breakfast was also an added bonus!
The friendly and helpful staff, the impeccable level of service, the unbeatable location, and the gorgeous property made our stay at Villa Fiorita unforgettable. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends & family for a perfect stay in Taormina!
The view from pool and breakfast area and the private beach were absolutely exceptional and amazing. This luxury stay is definitely a special stop when visiting Taormina. You don’t want to leave the hotel. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
This is a fantastic family run hotel in the perfect location with a short walk from the centre of Taormina. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were warm and caring. Wouldn't hesitate to return for another visit.
