A great place to stay and so close to Blarney castle! Also loved all the little shops along the streets near by. We stayed in a lovely big room and in the restaurant I had the nicest apple pie that I've ever eaten!

Check-in was smooth and easy. The front desk staff was very helpful with dinner reservations and tips for the stay.
The breakfast included both serve yourself (mostly "cold" foods like cereal, fruit, yogurt, croissants) and made to order (hot foods like eggs Benedict, avocado toast with poached eggs, and pancakes.
The room itself had a large king bed (the largest bed we had in all of our lodgings in Ireland). The room does not have air conditioning, which usually is not a problem, I'm sure. We happened to be in Ireland during the warmest week and so the room was a little too warm, but not unbearable. There was a small fan in the room, which helped. I'm not sure if this is always in the room or if it was added because of the warmer weather. Either way it was helpful.
The proximity to Blarney Castle & Gardens was very convenient, as was the "on-site" Woollen Mills Shop and the Christy's Bar/Restaurant.
Very pleasant experience.
Muskerry Arms is located in the centre of Blarney. This traditional property offers a restaurant, bar and a lounge.

It's a big house in a cute city named Blarney, the property is close the castle by walk and there are few parking spots nearby. The staff are so nice, they helped us with everything we needed. Gary is awesome!!

Adam greeted us on arrival and showed us the room ; there was a good selection of breakfast items and a toaster, kettle and small fridge for our use which was great. Bed was very comfortable as was the seating area. We could easily walk into Blarney so we didn’t need to use the car and there was a good selection of pubs and restaurants where we could eat. Blarney Castle grounds were lovely to walk around. Adam was very friendly and was around if we needed any help or advice .

The boutique Hotel Isaacs Cork City is just a 5-minute walk from the city centre, including the English Market and Shandon Steeple.

I like the location of this hotel (city centre) close to nice restaurants and one man (Spanish) at the reception was very nice and helpful. Room was clean too.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.

Lots to see here in addition to the castle.
Lots to see here in addition to the castle. There was no wait line to see the stone and I still spent about two hours looking around the castle and grounds. Note there is a considerable climb up a tight, circular, old stone staircase to get to the stone! But you can see most of the castle without climbing.

The Blarney Castle is very pricey but the park is amazing.
The Blarney Castle is very pricey but the park is amazing.
I wouldn't recommend going up the tower just to kiss the stone unless there is no queue.
It's a good place to move to other small towns in the surroundings.
We stayed in the apartment which was perfect for us, 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen and bath. The owners stocked the kitchen with milk, juice, tea, coffee, yogurts etc for us and delivered warm croissants and cheese puff paste rows and bread in the morning. The accommodations were clean and comfortable after a long day of traveling and the next morning we were minutes from Blarney Castle. Excellent hosts!
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It's a very aesthetically pleasing hotel, with great staff who provided us with some wonderful local recommendations and helped us find a post office, the breakfast was great with lots of coffee, and it was great to not only have parking but EV chargers on site. It was also nice to get to explore Blarney when the tourist buses weren't there.
Alwin and Douglas were so hospitable and kind. They did everything they could to make our stay one of the best experiences. It's such a beautiful property and it's about a 7 min drive to Blarney Castle, so a convenient location as well. The breakfast was great, especially the tea and yogurts. We had a large group and none of us had a single complaint.
Really nice stay. hotel location could not be better for Blarney and a short short walk to the village and castle. Good Covid controls in place. Staff were all super and warmly welcoming across the board which was a real highlight. Food was very good - we ate in the bar the first night and the lobby the second. Would recommend the hotel for a stay.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
I loved being able to stay above the pub and being within walking distance to the entrance of Blarney Castle and to the Woolen Mills. There was no noise from the pub during the stay but was so much fun being able to just walk up the stairs to our room at the end of the night. The food was great for both breakfast and dinner.
Book early. So the suite of 2 bedrooms came available unexpectadly, so we were lucky. Hotels in cork were 400 for 1 night for one bedroom and we got 2 with à kitchionette. The beds are comfy, it has its own door, parking and the host vicky leàves you alone. Its close to a garage wìth hot food which opens at 6am in blarnèy
Very clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe. Convenient to town and perfect for being the first to arrive at Blarney Castle and skip the lines. A full hot breakfast is not offered but you can bring your own food and store.
We had a wonderful stay at the Muskerry Arms. The staff were all fabulous, accomodation was comfortable, spotless and very stylish. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Had a wonderful stay and it’s literally a stones throw from the castle.
Wonderful hotelier and friendly staff. Beautiful, clean rooms. Large bathrooms that have been updated, but rooms still have wonderful charm. Great bar and kitchen… Also, very walkable to the Blarney Castle and Woolen Mills attractions.
Great directions to the property and how to get in. Very comfy beds, and nice decoration. Parking right in drive of property. Very close to Blarney town centre and great recommendation for dinner at the Castle hotel.
We had a fantastic stay at the Muskerry Arms, from the food to the very friendly staff and location.
Would recommend to everybody, if you're in Blarney stay at the Muskerry Arms you can't go wrong.
A fantastic hotel near Blarney Castle. It has been very comfortable, the staff has been very friendly and helpful and the food has been delicious too.
A definite recommendation to stay there!
Host was very nice and relaxed. Place was very clean, comfy bed.
Complementary water in the fridge was lovely. Blarney village itself is walking distace (for dinner and/or visit to the castle)
Very clean and friendly. Vicky was excellent greeting us, she also gave us great directions to get to our next destination. Very close to Blarney Castle
