Monaghan is a very busy town with some lovely dress shops...
Monaghan is a very busy town with some lovely dress shops and men shops. Nice coffee bars and place to eat - food is lovely and plentiful!. We noticed there was no litter anywhere. A very enjoyable visit and would recommend The Meadows - very clean, nice towels every day, etc. We ate in the Westenra Hotel. Very easy to get around Monaghan.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Guesthouse was fantastic. The lady was extremely pleasant and helpful. We were given a room upgrade and a delicious breakfast. We were meeting up with friends for dinner in Monaghan. At the suggestion of the hosts, we visited Castle Leslie one...
At the suggestion of the hosts, we visited Castle Leslie one afternoon. We enjoyed it immensely. It’s a “must see” place to visit! (Paul McCartney and Heather Mills we’re married there a few years ago.) Monaghan is a beautiful county. We’d like to explore more of it another time! We‘ll be back again! 🇮🇪🍀😊

The house is lovely the rooms are very spacious and comfortable with lovely views. Quick drive to Monaghan town and Castle Leslie wedding venue. Pauline was kind enough to drop us to the castle for one of our events and taxis were easily available in the area also. Room and bathroom facilities-spotlessly clean. Dining room where breakfast was served was a little cold but we were there in February waiting for Storm Eunice to strike!! Paula is a lovely lady and prepared and served a lovely breakfast. Great location for easy drive to Belfast.
