Fantastic location. The property with kangaroos and veggie garden was stunning. The cabin decor was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The picked herbs & zucchini’s in the kitchen & bread delivery were nice touches.

Breakfast was lovely - really appreciated them finding me some gluten free bread. The coffee was excellent. The ambiance of the whole place was lovely and the wood burning fire was gorgeous. When we came back in the evening we sat by the fire and they kindly served us drinks. We had a lovely stay and are gifting our friends a weekend there too. Only improvement I can suggest is there were only two teabags (the rest was herbal) which meant we couldn't have a second cup of tea in the morning. A few more tea bags would have been nice. Oh - and the temperature of the room was perfection. So comfortable.

Flinders is a small and rustic hamlet so you're not going to find a huge shopping precinct. The general store is well stocked. The fish and chips are excellent. The hotel meals are superb. The locals are friendly. The fishing (off the pier) is excellent. A great place, nice and quiet in October, no doubt very busy during holiday peak periods.) Flinders used to be a thriving busy little village but with Covid and staff shortages it was so disappointing to have most of the shops vacant or only open Friday and Saturday. Lovely to visit surrounding areas of Red Hill and Balnarring, but better to stay on the coast at Rosebud for example and day trip to Flinders. Flinders Hotel looked a better option to stay and eat, but takeaway cafe provided meals. It is easy to get around the peninsula and not far away.

Quiet picturesque village with some cute shops. The Chocolaterie and Ice-cream place is definitely worth a visit. Hot chocolate was the best I have tasted in a while. Lovely helpful and engaging staff. Chocolate gifts were pricey but that is to be expected in small townships who rely heavily on tourism. Overall a positive experience. Would definitely return.

Such a pretty place and plenty of cafes, restaurants, general store with amazing produce and shops. There’s also Flinders Golf course and plenty of places to walk. Locals are friendly as well. Perfect getaway.
