Clearly an owner occupier resort. Lobby and bar was absolutely dead. Absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. No room service after 9:00pm and the room smelt of mould. Bedroom has no natural light and I had a laundry in my bathroom. For almost $600 a night, this is completely unacceptable.

Superb location.
Superb location. Beaches with warm water (26C) in March to make swimming inviting. Restaurants & shops in Hastings Street with plenty of variety of each. Saturday morning at Eumundi markets which is always good value. Spent lunch at Bistro C overlooking the main beach & dinner one night at Embassy XO at Sunshine Beach which was excellent. Took a 1.5hr walk up to the Heads & back & saw some turtles & a Manta Ray. Good exercise.

The hill is a bit stiff when coming back from the beach on foot but one can always take the bus, it’s just one stop/5mn away and free on weekends. Pool area, even if a bit small, was very well-maintained. Our unit was decorated in a clean, modern style, very suitable to the tropical climate.
