From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome , everyone was nice and helpful , staff at dinner and breakfast done a great job .
The members of the golf club were also really nice spoke away to you telling you about the area, would definitely go back again lovely place for a relaxing weekend.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Grounds were beautiful . Very comfortable stay , exceptional views . Delicious food. Swimming pool just opened but looks like it will be good once up and running fully. Would highly recommend.

The club is in rural surrounds yet close for the likes of Glasgow
It caters for hotel guests both in the hotel and in cabins plus has parking for motor homes
It also stables a lot of horses and looks after them
The restaurant and bar is in a separate building close to the hotel itself
The menu in the restaurant is good as is the surrounds and ambience
Food was good value and delicious
The bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and clean and spacious
The only slight issue with the bedroom was it was on the ground floor by a path so people walk past

I am sorry the area was awful it was above an Indian restaurant and the corridor we had to go through was full of household rubbish and bags that were leaking the stairs were covered in grime and I have already reported on the inadequacies of the room I am trying to get a rebate but I will continue to post negative feedback until somebody contacts me with the view to sorting this outmarkUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0

No idea what the town is like as this was just a convenient overnight stay en route between Bournemouth and Oban. We only visited a local supermarket for fuel: Dumbarton had the best fuel prices seen on our whole trip though.

The town itself is looking a bit run down but efforts are being made to improve it. St Augustine's Episcopal Church is beautiful and is where Charles Rennie MacKintosh was married in 1900. We haven't visited the Rock nor the Maritime Museum but intend doing so sometimg.

We usually stay in travel lodge/ premier inn. Ths was just as well equipped but had a lounge/bar ant restaurant so we could relax and have a drink before getting ready for dinner in the restaurant with very friendly helpful staff

Some of it especially where the said apartments were was very run down. On the outskirts found a great hotel whose prices compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments was very competitive and offered breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable price. Also room very spacious compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments where we had a king size bed and little other room. Definitely not a place you would want to stay for 4 nights. The name suggested that all rooms were part of an apartment when in fact we have a 10 x 10 room and a cupboard for the bathroom very dingy ad no space to swing a cat. I only weigh 90 kg but totally unsuitable if disabled - cant class as a walk in shower room as requested. Don't be fooled by the word 'close' either. Its not a road where you can park your car - It is a dingy entrance up to the flats above a shop! It reminded my husband of the old tenament properties that he knew as a child. Dunbarten has a very useful train station with rides to the Glasgow city center, coming in nearly every 30minutes. It’s a very peaceful and serene town, with a well patronized shopping center. Stores like Asda, Argos and Dominoes pizza, help get you covered on food, groceries and household items.Grillo

Keys were not in the lock box and after calling few times found the key below the matt. i didnt like the area also. As far as apartment is concerned, it was not clean, things were put in floor like cattle and some other stuff. Didnt feel safe as main door was open and we couldnt lock the doors from inside while using different keys. All in all, not recommended.
