My stay at Giriwood Hotel & Villa was magical!
The hotel rooms were luxurious villas, harmoniously blending into the surrounding nature. The view from the terrace of sunsets and sunrises was especially impressive.
Additionally, the hotel service was impeccable. The professional and friendly staff were always ready to help and make my stay as comfortable as possible.
Giriwood Hotel & Villa became a real refuge for me from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and I took away an unforgettable experience from there. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

With amazing weather and multiple picturesque locations in and around, Bedugul is a must visit for people looking to explore the REAL Bali. I have been to Bali twice and find Kuta/Seminyak/Nusa Dua and the other most frequented places to be too touristy and commercial. You will enjoy every bit of the humble hospitality that the Balinese have to offer when you explore the unexplored! The locals treat you like royalty and are the most polite of indigenous population I have come across throughout my little travel across the world

bedugul has limited offerings. good passing thru spot. the temple is disappointing and the market has quite a lot of possible purchases but the shop owners are very pushy. the botanical gardens and the lovely garden centre lined street leading up are worth a wander.

Bedugul is 1300 -1500 metres, so quite cool, You could spend days in the Botanic Gardens, the Zip line adventure forrest in the Gardens is amazing, The lake is beautiful, the lake temple iconic, lunch on the top floor of the Danau Restaurant, world class golf course, the lakes mountain drive and views, good local restaurants, great markets with sensational boiled peanuts, exotic tropical fruit to try and strawberries! Brilliant mountain hinterland.

Getting there was a journey through village life one doesn't see on the beaten track, then you arrive to untouched beauty, rarely seen now days. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially cinta. The food, authentic and crafted with love. My room, i stayed in the loft, sunrise, it was extremely clean and very comfortable with an outdoor cabana to watch the most amazing sunrise in the morning. Village above the clouds is more a heavenly retreat than a place to stay.
