Kaupoissa ja ravintoloissa yleisesti erinomainen palvelu. Ihmiset tuntuvat olevan muutenkin kaupungissa erityisen kohteliaita ja ystävällisiä. Keskustan alueet ovat erittäin helppokulkuisia kävellen. Alue oli hiljainen, eikä muut vieraatkaan pitäneet meteliä. Hotellin läheisyys Clovelly Beachille ja siellä olevalle 'cliffille' sekä n. 4km kävelyreitti rannikkoa pitkiin (josta näkyi monesti valaita) oli parasta.
