We were only spending one night before our cruise from Port Canaveral. This was a great location for us to be close to port, right next to Walgreens for last minute supplies and walking distance to the beach. Perfect for what we were looking for. The staff were great!!

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise so if you are trying to plan the same type of stay here is some info I think will be useful. We took an Uber to the hotel from MCO ( $68 and took maybe 40 min). The hotel provides a shuttle to your cruise port ( $15/ person). There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance from the hotel. From fast food to “nice” restaurants, you won’t have a problem walking to get food. There is also a grocery store that’s an easy walk from the hotel ( maybe 6-7 minutes )for things you may have forgotten for your cruise. The beach is also an easy walk away ( maybe two blocks). The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. While it’s not new and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a new hotel, as a place to rest and get organized the night before your cruise it is an absolute no brainer for the price and location. If I were coming to cocoa beach for a week this is the first place I would try to stay because of what you get for the money.

A beach town that makes you wanna soak up the sun and surf some waves. Many interesting restaurants and amenities with friendly staff. I loved the beachy relax vibe. Also, it appeared to be dog friendly; wished I knew this to bring my pup! We loved "Salty Sisters bar and grill", we enjoyed both the food and the ambiance; very laid back. Getting around was easy but you do need to have a car for transportation. Definetely bring a mosquito repellent and sunblock! We did the Bioluminescent kayaking and should've done more research about best locations and time for these, we did not see many comb jelly glow and worse I developed an allergic dermatitis to something in the water. Lastly, we visited the "Kennedy Space Center" and one day was enough to see the facilities (though I am not a space enthusiast).

I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it is an older and unkept facility. The room was dirty and not properly cleaned. The bed sunk low and was in need of a new mattress. Old furniture and furnishings in the room. Lamp wasn't working and tv remotes with no back to hold batteries. They had to be replaced.

Cocoa Beach is a laid back surfer town and is close to Port Canaveral. We stayed here the day before our cruise departure. There are a lot of good restaurants and there is a Winn-Dixie and Publix. The beach is nice and clean.

I was only at the hotel one night and it was awful.
I was only at the hotel one night and it was awful. We stayed because it was a short drive to the port. Will not stay again. We had dinner at IHOP, it was not that great. After check-out, we had breakfast at McDonald's. It was as expected. We didn't visit any lical sites.
Beautifully renovated home in a great location in Cocoa Beach. This was the perfect little getaway spot for our family and we were very comfortable here. Easy walk to the beach, 7-Eleven for needed items or a drive to just about anywhere in Cocoa Beach. The home is beautifully decorated, well stocked with beautiful linens, thick towels and a few beach towels on hand for the gorgeous pool out back. I loved that I could do a little cleaning and organizing or prepare a meal while my family played in the pool and be right next to them.
The location is close to the main road into Cocoa Beach, and it is just a few miles from the cruise port. It is also close to bus stops, beach and store. The owner of the property was accessible at all times and were very communitive. I was able to reach them via text and email. The beach house has lots of room with a full kitchen, living area with a large TV, 2 bedrooms, laundry room and bathroom. Also, has a screened in porch with a BBQ grill. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, a dishwasher and pots and pans.
Location right on the beach, garden is shared with the hotel next to it, there was a wedding at the hotel and in the garden so we didn't use the garden or picnic area as we didn't want to intrude. Within walking distance of bars and restaurants, Pig and Whistle had really good food. Room was dated and the furniture rustic, however bedding was clean and fresh and bed comfortable, toiletries and towels clean, no hairdryer or iron. We stayed one night pre cruise and it was a good location for us.
Gorgeous, roomy place with comfortable beds, modern furniture/decor, incredible location minutes from the beach, excellent value, and in a safe area. Right down the street is a coffee shop and downtown Cocoa Beach, with cute little shops. The staff was really attentive and answered any questions I had immediately. Great stay! Next time we are in the area we plan to rebook (if available).
You will not find anywhere better on the beach, especially if you prefer a family-owned business over a chain hotel. We rarely stay anywhere else when we come to Cocoa Beach. The decor, landscaping and outdoor spaces make this place unique. No pool means no noisy party scene - just peace and quiet, the wind and the waves, and the sun and the moon. You forget where you are for a while.
The location is excellent, it is 100m from the pier and 100m from bars & restaurants & shops.
The rooms are adequate and have everything you need. The staff are friendly and keep the rooms clean.
This is not a five star hotel, so don’t expect one for the money that you pay. It is a value for money hotel and I would recommend it.
Location was convenient for car rental drop off prior to a cruise. Easy to get to cruise port in free car rental shuttle bus. Nice pool area. Comfortable bed in clean room. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. Make your own waffles were yummy. Pricing was good for the service and standards of the hotel.
Excellent location only a walk into downtown Cocoa Beach - staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Pool area kept spotless and despite being very busy always beds and towels available. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back - Thank you La Quinta xx
I LOVE that the property is right on the beach, I love that there is restaurants and ice cream down stairs. Other than the company needing to renovate, it’s a great hotel to stay in. Would definitely stay there again!
Great view on Cocoa Beach Pier and the beach, bright and specious room with balcony, very comfy beds, pool surrounded by blooming garden, nice coffeemaker in the room, big BBQ set up by the beach
Excellent professional friendly staff, great breakfast with great food selection, fantastic location right by Cocoa Beach and beautiful clean recently reverb rooms
