Portsea Hotel central and a great venue for casual dining. We paid extra for a balcony which was a space but closed in overlooking air conditioning!
Our bedroom window you could see a patch of water but had to leave curtains closed as patrons walked down some stairs and looked right into bedroom. I understand this was an old building and difficult to alter but it was not our promised balcony!

The classic balcony room was just lovely! Beautiful breakfast in a handy location for walks and restaurants.
Blairgowrie is an easy drive from Melbourne. Much easier using the freeways. While the is a toll to pay a toll pass is only $13 and lasts three days. So no complaints about that. It shaves 45 minutes off the journey at times.

Good location for getting around the peninsula, good choice of local shops takeaways and restaurants. Very good accommodation. Beach was closed when we stayed and pier could only be accessed from steps, so not very suitable for disabled

Blairgowrie was a wonderful place to stay.
Blairgowrie was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the quiet, nature filled streets, lots of trees, coastal gardens, coastal walks and birds to look at. The nearby shopping centre had an excellent restaurant, cafes and supermarket. It wasn't as 'touristy' as other parts of the peninsula.

The local shops are one strip- not over commercialised- but found a very good coffee and IGA stocks delicious food and local bread. Across the road is the beach which is quiet and there is a toilet/shower. I really appreciate how Blairgowrie shopping strip hasn’t been over developed.

The Blairgowrie IGA deserves a special mention as a very well run business. Even in the busiest of days when most places would be hell it was a very helpful and friendly place to shop with a very good selection in a small space.

The beach at Blairgowrie is perfect for young and old.
The beach at Blairgowrie is perfect for young and old. The beach is very clean and the water is shallow. Wonderful for little ones. A walk along the beach is the perfect relaxation . Watching the boats, the sun glistening on the water and the sun setting on the horizon.
Shopping at Blairgowrie is fun with little treasures everywhere. Beautiful cafes offer a great place to catch up with friends. Great variety of shops in a beautifully presented setting, for all your basic needs.
The property was easy to find and the location very central for Blairgowrie and Sorrento. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. We had lovely evenings sitting by the gas log fire playing the games provided. Just a tip, the fridge is not full size, but is larger than a bar fridge and adequate for 2-3 people for a couple of days.
The property is in a good location, with nice cafes and great shops not far away in Blairgowrie and Sorrento and is in walking distance to the beach. The house has plenty of space for everyone to spread out, the beds were very comfortable and it was nice and clean .Everyone loved the pool and garden, especially the kids.
Communication with the owners was very good.
The property is set in a quiet location hidden in the leafy / hilly part of Blairgowrie with a short drive to the back or front beaches. The house is quite spacious. There is a covered outside patio area with an outside fridge. Decent back garden to play. If you like TV… there are lots of big tvs nearly in every room. Renovated large bathroom.
We had a lovely stay at River Cottage over Easter. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. Location was great, less than a 10 minute walk into Blairgowrie's main street, easy drive to visit other areas on the Mornington peninsula.
Location was fantastic, very close to the beach and Blairgowrie shops. Bec, the resort manager, was very helpful and friendly. She accommodated us with a later checkout which was much appreciated. The room itself was very clean and serviced daily.
The house was in a brilliant location, walking distance to coffee and the lights to cross the highway to Blairgowrie beach. And it was so well set up, with a lovely big kitchen and dining area, very clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds.
The property was suitable to our needs and reasonably close to Blairgowrie front beach and Koonya back beach. We found the place lacked a lot of natural light and with some lighting not working made the eating area a bit dim.
This gorgeous home was just a short drive from the cafes and beach in Blairgowrie. The tennis / basketball court and layout of the home meant everyone of all ages were entertained and comfortable.
Brydon House was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The apartment is also conveniently located to the Blairgowrie shops and surrounds. We really enjoyed our stay and will book again one day.
Loved the spacious airy room and bathroom. Pool area great. Staff very friendly and super helpful.. Lunch at Panda was delicious. Easy to get breakfast in Blairgowrie
The price we paid was absolutely bad value. I checked today and we could stay at two Hilton hotels in Melbourne tonight for $150 less than this very standard motel.
That it had everything that we needed.
That it was very close to the beach and Blairgowrie shops and Sorrento shopping and restaurants.
Large and spacious yard.
Easy living and access to the garden for the kids.
The large inground trampoline was well used by the kids.
Easy access to the Blairgowrie and Rye beaches.
