The staff were amazing, could not do enough to try and make our stay enjoyable, special mention to Jacob, Head of Customer Relations, Michelle and Amy in the restaurant and the on duty manager, cannot remember how to spell her name but she was lovely, our room was clean. Service in the restaurant was excellent and facilities whilst dated were more than adequate.

We stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Calais. It has good proximity to Dover port so was perfect for that. The outside space is incredible and our dog and 1 year old loved it. Stan was an incredible host and so helpful. Great that travel cot and high chair are provided.

I think to book at the back of the hotel, lakeside is a must. Not sure our stay would have been the same otherwise at the front. Room spacious with great patio onto the lake, with ducks, coots etc...very charming. Only thing is that in the night we we're rather hot in bed and would liked to have had the patio door open slightly, but there were cheeky foxes running about and playing outside..which was very amusing but didn't fancy them possibly coming in the room!! Haha. No problem and it was great living amongst nature (has made me think twice about a safari now ;0)...would stay again and recommend as the staff were great, helpful and polite. Noticed it's a family run hotel, so well done everyone! Thank you

The hotel was very comfortable and clean, everything we needed was in the room. We had a family room and the kids beds were a great size, lots of room for them. Even though it was nearby to some main roads, you couldn't hear any traffic in the room and we heard no noise from other rooms either. It was easy to get to and the food at the restaurant next door was lovely at the end of a busy day It was very affordable and we would definitely stay again

Greeted by super friendly staff. The hotel itself was easy to find with lots of free, off road parking. The room was a great size and had its own fridge, as well as tea making facilities. Fully air conditioned room. Huge bathtub!!
