Everything was spotless and really top quality. Loved the little extra touches. Lovely, warm and cosy on a very cold and unexpectedly snowy weekend, with amazing views over the hills. Just managed a walk into Baslow, and had lunch in the Wheatsheaf before we got a taxi back (to cold for us and our dogs to walk back) Highly recommend a trip to Chatsworth farm shop ( but make sure you have plenty of money, so many nice things to buy) Will definitely come back, but in warmer weather so we can go walking over the moors.

Myself, my husband and 6mo old son had a great stay! The lodge is really well set up and comfy, and has everything you'd need. It's in a very convenient spot and there are some lovely pubs, walks and farm shops nearby. The communication with the host was great - very friendly and provided useful tips, and very easy to follow instructions to get into the property. Would recommend!

Host couldn’t do enough for us, couple of issues which were sorted very quickly and without fuss. Spotlessly clean, and the photos don’t do it justice. Everything we needed was provided and Penny was amazing and so helpful. Close to Chatsworth, can walk there through the beautiful grounds. Very near to our family and has a pub and a shop opposite! What’s not to like?

Breakfast was excellent choice of granola followed by a choice of meat, veg or salmon breakfast. Hot drinks and juice were brought to the table. Dinner had a great choice with fine quality ingredients. The location is near the farm shop, but a bit of a walk to the house or short drive. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
