My room at the Lensfield Hotel was exactly what I wanted: quiet, comfortable and clean. I arrived early and was pleased to find my room was ready. I asked for a room in the back and it was wonderfully quiet. I especially liked the fact that the windows could open for a bit of fresh air. My bed was comfortable and I was able to make myself a tea before my early morning check-out. It was a perfect stay.

The staff were all really amazing.
I was provided with. Sheet and blanket instead of a duvet. Few hotels can mange that.
Housekeeping were fast and efficient when I needed extra blankets and extra tea bags.

Shopping facilities are adequate, local eating premises are quite good but can be busy. Pleasant quiet village, easy access to Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and a number of museums, stately homes and National Trust properties with a vast network of cross country paths.
