Room was fine - clean and comfortable - a little dated, but that was fine. Pleased the emailed me to say there was a party that night - but that didn't affect me and was quiet by 2330. Breakfast was pretty good.

Handforth has a village feel. It's quite small but there are a couple of pubs and hotels. There are a few eateries, chippy, Italian and Indian. There is small shopping centre, The Paddock, with a limited selection of shops. The main A34 now bypasses Handforth and the airport is only a 10 minute drive away.

It had the twin rooms that we required.
It had the twin rooms that we required. Our rooms were next door to each other. Just a few minutes to airport. Nice and quiet. Rooms were adequately equipped for our needs. Clean and functional. Comfortable enough for our stay. Pleasant staff. Shop and reasonable restaurant (we had a carvery for dinner), within walking distance. We left too early in the morning to have breakfast at the hotel. If I was going to require a stay in the same area again, I would definitely be prepared to stay there. Having its own free car park was very useful too.

The hotel was easy to find and offered good parking, we stayed overnight to get an early flight and also found local facilities offering good food and drinks nearby. The locals we met were friendly and helpful, we did not stay long enough to see the town properly.

Very very poor overpriced food. Nothing cooked from fresh. The dishes we tried were absolutely shocking. This hotel really needs to employ a chef. Really poor breakfast too, so much so, two of the party didn’t bother for the rest of the stay.

close to the airport and good price, parking a bit tight but we got in. could do with a more prominent sign, we knew where it was as had stayed there before. beds and bedding fine everything was satisfactory
Comfortable and well-appointed hotel in a very convenient location south of Manchester close to the airport (but with minimal noise!). Excellent cooked breakfast. Beautiful gardens (including deck chairs and a beach when we stayed, although sadly it was raining!) We were visiting our daughter at the University and we will definitely use this hotel again when we are next in Manchester. Handforth has a number of restaurants (including an excellent Italian) within a short and pleasant walk from the hotel.
The hotel location was great, not too far a distance from the airport, regular buses and lots of local amenities. The hotel it’s self was stunning, the room itself were incredibly luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and it offered everything you could possible want. I’ll definitely be coming back again in the future next time myself or my boyfriend is travelling.
It was pleasant enough, for the one night that we stayed. Was not noisy. Didn’t have breakfast as we had to be at the airport early. Had a reasonable carvery for dinner, just a few minutes walk from hotel. Had twin beds in the rooms we occupied. In comparison with other hotels/rooms I was looking through, this one was good value for money. Very convenient for our needs.
We stayed at this hotel for one night before flying out for our honeymoon.
It was a really good hotel, the housekeeping staff went above and beyond, they put an extraordinary special touch with sweet treats and rose petals in our room.
The breakfast was good, full English cooked breakfast buffet with vegetarian options available.
Great hotel, nice location and beautiful garden.
Lovely rooms and bathroom. Beds where so comfortable. Staff so friendly and helpful.
Train station just around the corner, so handy as we were travelling in and out to Manchester city.
Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is comfortable, clean, and good value for the money. As a place to stay before flying out of Manchester airport, it met my needs. The best part was undoubtedly the large and comfortable garden in which I enjoyed a nice meal and a bottle of wine
Extremely likeable staff, very kind and super helpful with all my needs. Very flexible options available. Baggage storage and cab service were a true blessing. Close to the airport (10 minutes by car), and a train ride away from Manchester City centre.
the hotel was convenient to airport. the rooms are comfortable. the restaraunt was very good staff very friendly and the food excellent. I had the smoked haddock. to die for
Great location for Manchester airport and good value for this type of stay. Noise from the airport was pretty minimal considering how close it is (less than 3 miles)
We chose this hotel because of the amenities available such as dining even late at night, the variety of items for breakfast, and the most welcoming of staff.
