They accommodated my request to check-in earlier. The staff were so friendly and kind. I will definitely go back and stay here once I head back to Largs.

Largs is a nice place to visit for a short or long break it is very easy to get around lots of places to eat. We would recommend The Three Reasons great food and prices. The only thing we would suggest unless you are a really big eater try the small meal first, its more than enough. There are lots of places to visit not too far away.

Largs is a MUST stopover if you're planning on visiting Millport. The town itself has so much to offer for Children and Adults alike, great eateries such as Nardinis, where you can taste some of the worlds best ice creams, and, fish and chips! Largs also has some great little shops namely the homemade chocolate shop and many more. I'll definitely be back.
I must add - Shows and arcades for the kiddies, this town has it all.

Fabulous, my third or fourth stay in Largs and I never get tired of it. Scenery is beautiful, walk along the coast path watching the ferries, and in better weather there's nowhere nicer to have a picnic and watch the sea. Good hourly rail connections to Glasgow, from where the rest of Western Scotland and the UK are easily accessible. Also change at Kilwinning for the Ayr line, which has some lovely seaside resorts too.

A nice town to stay in if you like to be away from the city, and enjoy being by the sea and walks along the waterfront. Only a short ferry trip to the lovely Isle of Bute, good charity shops and pubs, lovely staff in Costa Coffee, friendly locals and a nice train ride to Glasgow.

Largs town itself is a bit run down (but this is like most places on the West coast especially these days).
Limited availability of supermarkets if you need to buy groceries for self catering, but you can get what you need.
I didn't eat out but there did look to be a good selection of different types of eateries, Italian, Chinese, traditional, etc.
Also actually good for doing some shopping. That's not why I was there but was pleasantly surprised by the shops on the Main St leading down to the promenade.
If you are looking for a place to spend a leisurely time and don't need a lot to do apart from go for nice walks and eat ice cream then this is the place for you! And of course if you want you can visit Millport from Largs.
The walk along the promenade in Largs is very pleasant, good for fresh air walks but was very busy with families, dogs etc and this was in Winter, so must be absolutely chocca in Summer.
Also, respect to the people eating ice-cream at 0 degrees celsius - gotta have that in Largs no matter what the weather haha:)
It's also a good place if you want a base to explore more of the wider area because the train station is very central but there is also a bus service which goes to Wemyss Bay, Fairlie, Gourock, Greenock etc, ending up in Glasgow. So you can go exploring:). The bus journey is quite scenic. Bus leaves just outside the train station. (I didn't know this but found out cause all the trains got cancelled:( So good for a back up if nothing else!
Seona was warm and welcoming, making sure that we had everything we needed. Our room was very comfortable, and although the shower room was small, it was fine for us ( we were offered the use of a larger shower room on a lower floor, but it wasn’t necessary). Breakfast was amazing - such a selection of fresh fruit ( much better than some 5 star hotels) and freshly cooked hot choices. Overall we would recommend Broom Lodge to anyone visiting Largs or North Ayrshire in general.
It was lovely and clean and had easy to work items in the kitchen and it was good to have use of the washer dryer. Scotts playground is just around the corner and the children loved that there was a park so close. We parked up on the street for our whole stay and could walk everywhere as it is nice and central to Largs main tourist area. The Vikingar Centre is excellent with great swimming facilities. The Viking Experience they run is excellent too.
A true home from home. The flat is ideally situated, overlooking the sea front, with amazing views. There is ample off-street parking for residents (a real bonus for Largs). The communal area, access stairs etc. is carpeted and clean. The flat itself is a true gem - bigger than expected, nicely decorated and immaculately maintained. It is a welcome, comfortable retreat at the end of a busy day. Everything you could wish for is provided by the hosts.
Very good communication , absolutely everything we needed kitchen , towels and bedding . Heating in so the apartment was warm.
Local info available and a short walk to the town and sea front .
Met the hosts by chance after check out as we left our car to enjoy the morning and they were very friendly and keen to know how our stay was .
We would recommend this as an excellent base for exploring Largs and the neighbouring islands .
This was our second visit to this lovely hotel and all the staff are still very efficient and friendly. The food is amazing and I can highly recommend the langoustines and the steak.
It's a five minute walk downhill into Largs to the shops and bars, but we did get a taxi back, it only costs a couple of pounds.
Alan and all his young staff really make this hotel and we look forward to our next pre-xmas visit in 2022.
Nice and quiet area. Not a noisy street, and easy to find a place to park. Close to supermarket and 10-min walk from town centre. The solo room was equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, little tray with coffee, tea bags, TV, and a sink, which I found very handy. Comfy mattress. Two shared bathrooms very clean and tidy kept. There's a microwave in the hall for common use. Easy to check in and check out.
Lovely, clean, spacious room. Bed was very comfortable and we had the added bonus of a balcony with a small table and two chairs. Breakfast was lovely - plenty to choose from and fresh, quality produce. The hotel has a reasonably well-stocked bar (had everything we wanted!) and a well-sized beer garden. It is also in a great location being just a few minutes walk to the beach and centre of Largs.
Location within easy reach of Largs. Bus every 15 minutes during the day.
Because of the stay at the Willowbank Hotel, I was able to visit various places of interest.
The hotel accommodation was very comfortable and it was reasonably quiet and pleasant.
It was a very good holiday.
Thanks.
Well presented, very clean flat right in the heart of Largs ,only a stones throw from the shops, cafes restaurants etc, well equipped kitchen ,spacious living room, well presented bathroom.
Bedrooms fresh and clean.
This beautifully decorated cottage has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. And it's a perfect base for your daily trips. We had a fantastic time and would recommend it to anyone visiting Fairlie/Largs.
Truly fantastic B&B. Such a nice break from routine stays in hotels. Keith went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Definitely coming back!
