Accessing accommodation was smooth and able to leave luggage when arrived before check in. Bellano was a great base to explore the lake and the accommodation was about 10 minute walk from ferry port or 5 minutes from train station. Close to a supermarket. Room was clean and a good size with everything needed but quite simple. Balcony was a lovely addition to the room.

The hotel is a beautifully restored old villa. The staff Francesca and Manuella were so welcoming, helpful and very kind. With great knowledge of all places to visit,eat etc
The garden and terraces overlooking the lake were lovely and nice to sit by the water and relax after a busy day sightseeing.
Breakfast was super, well prepared . Cooked eggs when asked.

An amazing property that couldn't be closer to the lake, the host was super helpful, friendly and willing to guide us with our random tourist queries. I totally recommend to stay in the property if you want a place next to the water and at a short distance from local amenities.

We stayed here because we read reviews of the crowds not being as heavy as other towns, and it's true! Bellano has a more "local" feel and much less crowded, but still busy on the weekend. It's an amazing little town with access to other lake towns. Wish we had more time there.

Fabulous property and host!
Fabulous property and host! Giovanni went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions or concerns, both before our arrival and during our stay. The views of the lake are just stunning and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace with a glass of wine enjoying our surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, but walkable to town, the ferry, and the train station. We were able rent a boat right in the town and enjoyed exploring the lake on our own. We also took the ferry to other towns on the lake and enjoyed the busier, more well known towns as well.

Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in Bellano for ones loving nature. The SS36 motorway nearby makes your travel with car very easy alongside the whole Eastern part of the lake, meanwhile the rest of the roads along the lake can be full of traffic jams. This to be considered if you chose your location to sleep during the night but travel to explore different venues during the day.CsanádHungary - 10Scored 10

We would highly recommend staying in Bellano. It was convenient to other villages on the lake and we could be away from the crowds. It was a charming town with great restaurants. The ferry service was most convenient to Bellano. We were able to travel around the lake easily and looked forward to coming back to our bit of paradise in Bellano!Festa - 10Scored 10
Our group really liked Bellano.
Our group really liked Bellano. We were looking for a smaller town that was not over-commercialized or overrun with tourists, but not so small that there was nothing to do and the dining options were limited. In Bellano we found nice restaurants & we were particularly fond of the places adjacent to the water where we could dine and watch the lake traffic. The ferry schedule was a bit confusing but we figured it out spent some time on the water as well. In all, Bellano was what we were looking for and we were very happy with our choice. We would come back here again.

Mr. Enzo was an exceptional host who made sure his guests have everything they need (and, if you don’t feel like walking - he might just come pick you up!) The view was lovely. after traveling in Italy for 4 weeks - this was the reprieve I needed. the little pool was perfect after a long day too - doesn’t seem like much until you get in it! Our apartment was new and clean, next to the pool and with views on the Como lake. Next to the pool, there is a restaurant which we highly recommend. Nice food and very convenient, also overlooking the Lake. From Bellano, easy connections to all villages along the beautiful Lake Como. Highly recommended for a stay of a couple of days.
