The room was very nice and had everything we needed. I would have liked a couple of chairs on the balcony as the hammock, albeit very quirky, wasn't for us. It's a bit of a walk into the town but a short taxi ride which was fine or we caught the bus one evening which was also good and very cheap. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and a real barista serving coffees.
Just a few metres from the sea, Hotel Tourist offers an equipped private beach and an outdoor pool. It is on Cefalù’s promenade and most rooms overlook the sea.

Everything was great. You can take long walks in all directions with incredible water views and visit quaint streets and houses.
Hiking up La Rocco is a must for the views but is difficult. Allow time for rest and wear sturdy footwear. I joked it was only fit for goats- then we saw goats.😊
Many restaurants there with good food.
Friendly people throughout this Medieval Beach town.
We enjoyed the beach. It is large and lots of room to walk and was not crowded.
Convenient and economical train transportation in and out of Cefalu so a car is not needed.

Cefalu is a very nice town.
Cefalu is a very nice town. We were visiting during spring time and it was not too crowded, this will probably be different during summer creating a different vibe then. Spending 2 or 3 days in Cefalu was enough for us. The town is situated in a special place, tucked away between the rocky mountain and sea. There are enough restaurants with medium to high quality cooking always for a reasonable price comparison.

It’s a wonderful town on the sea beside a massive rock stack - La Rocca Ecopark. Beautiful buildings in the historic old town centre. Great beach for swimming.
There’s a lot to explore and see. The food options are delicious; and at the end of April the whole place was buzzing with people enjoying themselves. Our stay coincided with Liberation Day.

The Old Town is stunning and the service in cafes and restaurants was very good. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We visited sites from Cinema Paradiso and the lady showing us the cinema was welcoming and informative. The Catherdral and the square it sits in are beautiful and lovely to see the Arab - Norman buildings. Beachfront buildings are beautiful.
Even though it was out of season it was busy so maybe summer it would be too crowded but understandable as so pretty.
Vegetarian food on offer less inventive that in other towns in Sicily but the sights of the Old Town make up for any minor disappointments.

An absolutely charming town, the resort was relaxing, the employees all so nice… Cefalu had incredible beauty and if you are there at easter, the procession to the dome at night was touching. Beautiful plaza in front of the dome. Everything you can imagine in a small sicilian town.

Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily.
Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily. There is abounding natural beauty and many interesting little streets to wander, dotted with shops and restaurants.
Our accomodation was over-priced for the offering.
Perfect apartment a short walk to old town and right next to the beach. Free private parking easy to get to and spacious, you will pay for parking to stay anywhere in Old Town as it's ZTL, so this is definitely worth it. Heating good in winter (hard to find in Sicily), loads of cooking utensils in kitchen - I even made homemade lemonade!
Owner had great communication and ready to meet us on arrival, loads of helpful tourist and food recommendations. Supermarket nextdoor. Very quiet street, no noise issues at all. We loved Cefalu!
Thoughtfully updated, immaculate boutique hotel with very comfortable beds and excellent location right on the beach, just a 5 minute walk to the heart of the old town. We stayed in the Superior Double Room, which had a large private sea view terrace with a hot tub (that was kept at a refreshing cool temperature for the hot summer weather). The manager, Chelsea, was extremely attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. We definitely recommend Abelia Suites when visiting Cefalú!
The views, setting and beach (pebbles) at hotel Kalura are fantastic and definitely made our stay. The view from the studio we stayed in was amazing and made up for the dated furnishings. The studio was clean and towels changed daily.
The pool area was spacious and there were sufficient sun beds available.
The restaurant also has spectacular views. We had dinner one night and the food was lovely.
The walk into Cefalù took 30 mins, taxi back cost 15 euros and the restaurant was happy to call a taxi.
Villa Panorama is the traditional country house 10 minutes drive from Cefalu. It is located on the mountain and has the great views of the sea and the grounds. The house is good place for a family of 5 people. The Salinella beach is 5 minutes drive and great for swimming and sunbathing with not big crowds. Palermo is an hour drive away.
Overall it is a great base to have a relaxing vacation in Sicily.
"I recently stayed at this hotel during my visit to Sicily and was impressed by the stunning location and views from the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our experience a bit more bearable. The hotel was well-maintained, and the amenities provided were satisfactory. During the warmer months, I could recommend this hotel to couples looking for a relaxing getaway."
We loved to stay here at this property old town Cefalù just down a walkway by the beach about seven minutes in about 12 minutes you could actually reach the cathedral from this hotel. It’s extremely open air and spacious and they offer free parking, which was a benefit since we had a car. The staff was amazing. They have a bar and Gelateria downstairs which is incredible.
1. very large private car park
2. pool and beach
3. recently refurbished / modern interiors
4. extremely helpful and friendly receptionists
5. the best (large selection) breakfast that i experienced in Sicily. They even had fresh cherries !
6. all spotless / clean
Though 4 star - it is better than some 5 star hotels that i have stayed at.
Perfect location. You got all the comfort of an exceptional hotel and stil you are part of the cosy city of Cefalu with the small streets and little houses.
Beach is les than 2 minutes away, cathedral 1 minute away and all the restaurants nearby.
Breakfast excellent and a friendly welkome.
Perfect stay at Cefalu!
The personnel at the front desk were terrific. They provided excellent tips as to restaurants and things to see and do. Although hotel parking is a couple of blocks from the hotel, it was safe and well monitored. While not on the beach, the Hotel Artemis is close to the beach and a lovely place to stay.
Location was fantastic, almost on the sea front and in the heart of the city. It was modern and clean and quiet. Reception were very helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Sicily for different options. Handy that there was Hotel parking reasonably close by.
The hotel was in an excellent position and the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The rooftop terrace was perfect for a Cefalu sundowner! The family-run hotel staff were really friendly and helpful.
Rita was lovely. she made all the goods for breakfast, which was excellent. freshly squeezed OJ, cakes, frittata, crepes and all. great location on the historic old town. close to everything. Cefalu is the nicest place in Sicily.
EVERYTHING! The staff made us feel like family. This was our favorite stay in Sicily for sure. The location is really the best in Cefalu, centrally located. Would definitely go back 100%. Grazie Andrea we love you!
Location was great, staff were very nice, swimming pool was great and private beach just in front of the hotel very convenient. Amazing sea view from our room.
The location was perfect - in the historic center of Cefalu and near the beach. In fact, the hotel provided us with beach towels and access to a nice beach.
The way from the hotel and private beach is unbeatable. It is surreal how stunning it is. The best place I stayed in Sicily. It’s a highlight of my trip.
