Extremely quiet. Great view of the bay. The little dog in reception area was cute. The hostess was very friendly and tolerated my bad Italian. Huge room with comfortable bed and pillows. Hot shower. Good TV. Plenty of secure parking. Early check-in. Only 20 mins to airport. 20 mins from Vesuvius.

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite with a stunning sea view, featuring a gorgeous terrace that offered perfect vistas of Mount Vesuvius, the Island of Capri, and the City of Naples. The breakfast was excellent, the internet was fast, and the hammam was delightful. Our host, Catarina, was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The ambiance felt like an ancient palazzo, with a magnificent bathroom and impeccably chosen interior decor.
The cute dog of the house Tobia makes everybody smile :-)

Excellent price-quality ratio, perfect cleanliness, the room had everything you needed, the balcony overlooks both the sea and Vesuvius. Thanks to the staff for their care and recommendations for our trip. The breakfasts were amazing, scrambled eggs, cappuccino and incredibly delicious croissants, and sincere conversations with you guys gave a charge of positive emotions for the whole day

Everything was perfect and as my expectations. For example, the breakfast, cleaning every day, location, access to the hotel etc were perfect. The owner was also helpful and informative. As a family, I enjoyed our stay a lot.
The ruins were fantastic. There is also the Teatro Antico, which is still underground. We missed out on this as we didn't find out about it until we got there. They only admit small groups at a time and it was fully booked. Tickets are available from the Herculaneum entrance or on the Ticket One website, so you really need to book on advance. There is a virtual Archaeological museum in the town. This includes a short 3D film about Vesuvius, the opportunity to fly a virtual drone and a VR experience of walking round one of the palace gardens. Ideal for kids and teens! The museum is screen based about Herculaneum ruins and does not include actual discoveries from the site.
For visiting the surrounding areas, trains into Naples are regular, as are trains to Pompeii (but you have to change - the ticket man didn't tell us this!). Don't miss the chance to wander round the actual town of Pompei. It was beautiful! In fact, next time I would choose to stay there over Ercolano or Naples!

My grandchild suggests we would have been better staying in Pompeii and travelling to Ercolano one day. I had decided to follow what my neighbour suggested, based on taking a younger child to southern Italy.

We spent one night in Ercolano to visit the ruins of Herculaneum and break up our trip to the Amalfi Coast. The ruins are a must-see and you can experience authentic Naples pizza at RO.VI. We also enjoyed espresso and drinks at the Herculaneum Cafe. I'm not sure what you'd do here for more than a day or two, but the ruins and authentic cuisine were definitely worth our time!

The apartment was very nice and people of Ercolano very friendly. They really drive like crazy, but that is their way of life. Train station is really near the apartment and best option to reach Napoli, Pompei, Sorrento...

Ercolano is a small town nearby Vesuvio, which can be seen from most everywhere, Naples bay also is lovely and is seen from most of the places in the town. You can easily find nice fish, pizza, fast food and traditional local restaurants in 10-15 min walk. There is a nice but small botanical garden in the territory of the local university. They also have a park of mandarins/tangerines which you can pick up for free.
The ruins of Ercolano/Herculaneum exceeded our expectations! It is not overcrowded as Pompei, the territory you can walk through in 1-1.5 hours, moreover, some buildings are in better condition ... we liked it.
The hotel is located in XVIII century house with a charming park, lemon trees, palms, fountain. Rooms are big with tall painted ceiling and old style doors with electronic keys :). The train station is in 10 min walk, then you can get to centre of Napoli or Pompei in 20 min. The ruins of Ercolano are also 10 min walk (exceeded our expectations). Furthermore, there are plenty of small excellent restaurants nearby. Also, on request, you can get a private taxi driver to get you anywhere you need (airport or Vesuvio) for 45-50 eur.
This location is perfect for visiting Herculaneum. 5 minute walk to the entrance. If you want a real taste of Italy without all the tourist trappings, this is a great place to come.
The real gem of the place is Lucretia: she went above and beyond. Drove me to an on call doctor’s clinic and stayed with me to help, drove us to the train station after allowing us to leave our bags in the suite until after our tour was over. And had warm pastries and coffee delivered to our door at our selected time for breakfast. Amazing!
We loved the property's history and charm - magical! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff was super attentive, friendly, informative, and great hosts. Thank you, Valentina, Maria (?), and Theresa for taking such good care of us.
There is a fantastic Michelin Guide restaurant almost across the street under the same ownership - a MUST try - we loved it!
The Herculaneum ruins are a short walk from the hotel (as was a pretty good pizzeria - great location.
The rooms were clean and comfortable.
There was air conditioning, very important if you visit during summer.
Also the breakfast was included and served at the nearby restaurant, it was good.
It is close to the public transport and the Ercolano ruins.
If you need there's a parking nearby but that's not included in the price of course.
When you arrive you have to pay 2 euros extra per person for the City tax.
The host Alessandro met us on site to show us all the facilities and to make sure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. Everything about the place has been well thought of and is top class. Alessandro and Beppe at the bar were great hosts.
Everything was nearby, the railway station, Herculaneum ruins and restaurants and shops.
Easy to get around to Pompeii, Sorento and Naples for day trips.
the facility and surrounding grounds were impeccable. great decor and a most peaceful setting. Dinner at the restaurant was off-the-charts. of our 18 days on vacation in Italy, then a cruise including Turkiye and Greece, this meal stood out as one of the finest in all areas - food, presentation, AND service. Hat's off!
Well preserved building from the 1700s with beautiful grounds. Hotel is quite close to the Herculaneum ruins and the reception desk staff was very helpful in planning my visit to it and other sites in the area. Had dinner at the restaurant and found the food well prepared at a reasonable cost ($$)
Good communication with the host. Quiet place away from noisy and tiring Napoli. Interesting neighbourhood with excellent access to nearby historical sites and landmarks either by foot or trains. Rooms were very clean. The Internet connection was the best I have had in any hotels.
Excellent location on a nice side street between the circumvesuviana station and the Ercolano archeological park. Excellent food options nearby. strategic location away, but not far from the busy city of Napoli and the Pompeii ruins. Very clean place, friendly host.
Beautifully located hotel, over ruins of ancient Herculaneum. Staff was absolutely exceptional. I hadn't met such amazing staff before. I felt completely looked after and felt like I am at home. Perfect place to explore the Naples Bay.
Very quiet place with a good swimming pool, great views and kitchen with everything you need. Ercolano ruins and beaches are a few minutes drive away. We enjoyed our stay and will come back one day, for a quiet holiday close to Naples.
Ercolano ruins a few minutes walk and easy drive to Mt vesuvio. Swimming pool. premise parking a big plus. Staff was excellent. So nice and very helpful. Building is beautiful and the grounds as well. I would recommend for sure
Located at the end of Ercolano. Plenty of restaurants, supermarket, fish market, etc. reachable within a 15 minutes walk. Shop with different kinds of foods and a bakery is located in the same building.
beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms. the host/owner was helpful with all questions and travel arrangements. near the ruins and the train in Herculaneum. highly recommend Villa Cua!
Great place, near Herculaneum and Vezuvius. Owner recommended great driver to get us from Napoli Airport, around Ercolano and to Vezuvius. If you don't have a car rely on her driver.
The location is perfect for a visit to Herculaneum ruins. The accommodation could be any closer. Train station is a short walk and great food near by. Lucia is very helpful
Near the Ercolano ruins, at the base of Vesuvio (could be visited only if you have purchased a ticket online several weeks in advance). Clean, with bunk beds for the kids.
Just a few steps from Ercolano scavi. The place is very nice, and Antonio is a great host. We stayed overnight to visit the excavations, and enjoyed it.
