For a small extra fee, they allowed to take my cat with me.
The other itself is a bit outdated, but the rooms seem to be rather recently renovated.. so the room was modern and with cozy design.
I did not have breakfast there, but the buffet dinner was with very good selection.
Hotel Biancaneve is set a 5-minute walk from Sestriere centre and 200 metres from the nearest ski lift. It offers panoramic views over the Alps.

Great location for getting to the gondola in the morning, and not too far from the other chair lifts. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was always clean and had enough storage in the wardrobe/drawers, and had no issues with heating/bathroom whatsoever.
Hotel Sciatori is located at 1845 metres of altitude, just a 5-minute walk from the Via Lattea ski lifts and 2 km from the centre of Sestriere.

Great slopes for beginners so suited our family group.
Great slopes for beginners so suited our family group. Not all the lifts or pistes were open, and it was the same when we were there in January. This was disappointing as there was plenty of snow for our Easter break.

Lovely resort. Quiet when we stayed.
Lovely resort. Quiet when we stayed. Le Lei and Baby are great restaurants in town. Best restaurant in town is found through entering building where Farmacia Jayme is - walk into building, past the pharmacy entrance on right, and it is at the end of the corridor on your left (past a little toy shop). Great food, fantastic staff.
Sestriere is small and easy to get around. Good Carrefour supermarket on main strip.

The French side of the Vialattea ski area is much more better.
Snow situation was very bad, but the snow cannons were not used.
Town was very quiet in the evenings.
The restaurants in the slopes were quite messy and poor quality in food and price comparison to other Italian ski resorts and Austria.

Sestriere is a very small but cute town.
Sestriere is a very small but cute town. Access to the pistes is easy and there are a lot of facilities for renting equipement, cafes, etc.
We had a hard time looking for restaurants for dinner, as every single one was fully booked.
Nice clean apartment. Roberto, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. He advised the best way to get to Sestriere from Oulx railway station and waited for us with the keys. Apartment has kitchen utilities (one more bigger knife would be good, apart from that You have everything that is needed). Locker for skis (two pairs were fitting, one would have problems with more) is a great feature. We had to walk a bit (something like 70 meters) with skis to be able to put them on, but this was not a problem. Overall good quality-to-price ratio.
The staff were really friendly, they had a nice bar with good drinks and the rooms were big and comfortable. We went for half board and the food was good, they have a buffet which you can have before your dinner (starter and main) arrives. The buffet food was average, plenty of it but it’s the same every night and isn’t anything fancy. The hotel offer transfers down the hill to the lifts for skiing which was good and they have a good boot room to keep everything dry.
A nice private apartment, suitable for a family of 4. Well equipped with all the necessary stuff, kitchenware, bed linen and towels were provided. Large living room with a convertible sofa and a bedroom of a decent size with some place to work, if you need it.
Private parking in a closed garage on the ground floor. Elevator right from the parking place up to the apartment door, very practical for hauling luggage.
The host was very friendly and helpful.
Elena, the host, was excellent at communicating before and during our stay. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and clean. Once we left our skis at the rental company’s (Marcellin, also highly recommend!) on-piste storage, it was a short walk through Sestriere back to Chalet Edelweiss. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to couples, friends & families alike!
The daily menu was good for a "half board" meal plan at TH Sestriere | Villaggio Olimpico. Each evening we found a good choice of meals and the quality was probably slightly better than its 3*+ equivalent found in a typical Spanish all inclusive beach hotel. The location is excellent with minimal walking to the nearest lift plus the ability to ski back within 5m of the hotel.
the kitchen was very nice and functional and the bathroom was awesome. the place has a little porch which is very nice.
the most important thing is the price. we wanted a cheap vacation and picking any other stay would have made it a lot more expensive. I would say that compared to the price, it’s by far the most cost efficient hotel/ apartment in sestriere.
Very nice stay at a Grangesises Grange fancy apartment.
Special thanks to FRANCESCO who provided full support and help to all our needs.
Good Things:
- Apartment fourniture, heating and complete equipment
- Easy car parking
- Short way to Sestrieres ski station (by car)
- Reasonable price
- Luggage storage on the last day
Thanks
The hotel is very charming and the bar is great. Really buzzy with good staff, a lovely place to hang out. The ski in/out is great and you can get your ski passes there at a discounted rate. The shuttle into town is very good and all the staff were lovely. le, they are ok but the pillows are dreadful. The beds are not very comfortab
Staff were great, hard working, helpful and friendly. Very close to slopes and everything you need (restaurants, shops, bars etc.). Breakfast excellent, rooms cleaned to a high standard daily, highly recommended hotel and ski resort.
The location of the hotel is very good. Not too far from slopes nor the town. Few minutes by foot.
Breakfast was exceptionally good. Coffe was very good. Selection of food is great and especially fresh fruits table was great.
Friendly staff, linked to hotel for facilities. Really close to lifts and great ski hire location. Bogata is a nice little village. Car or bus can get you into busier Sestriere main town in a few mins.
Far enough away from the centre of Sestriere to avoid the crowds but with a handy navetta to take you back and forth if you don't want to walk.
Staff all very helpful.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Attentive and professional. We were so glad that they communicated in English. We enjoyed the location and comfort of the hotel.
