It is very hard to describe this hotel. Location-close to the ferry, great views. We stayed in two rooms, one with fjord view and another with village view. Rooms size was decent and rooms had tv, table, bed and all you would expect. No hairdryer though. One room was partly renovated and another one was not. Needs serious refresh. Both rooms seemed clean but in one room trash in the bathroom was not emptied and someone’s underwear was lying on the floor. So we really questioned the cleanliness from that point. Breakfast was below basic. Staff is trying their best to provide good services but they are clearly understaffed. Same person is running between kitchen and reception.

The rooms were spacious and airy, the beds and bedding comfortable and the staff were fantastic. Dinner was from a small selection in the a la carte menu but everything was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of hot and cold items, a huge range of teas and plenty of gluten free items too.
