The rooms were tidy and very spacious. We were also given bug spray and had incense burnt on our porch every night to keep the mosquitoes away. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food was great! There were also kayaks that were free of charge to use

Really good location, outstanding service, free tea and coffee by the pool. The staff are very helpful and extremely kind. I would highly recommend this place for a stay. If we come to Koh Phangan we will definitely be staying here again. Only less than 10 mins from the “walking street”. When checking out two people dropped us off at the pier out of kindness. Really good and genuine people working there, would highly recommend.

The place is close to the pier. It looks like a place full of activities, since they have a Cafe, Brunch, Playroom etc. You can also rent a moto from there.

the first room I had with no AC, was very hot and eventhough it was clean, a cockroache went inside the room. After I change my room with AC, there were no insects. The room was big enough for me alone and it had a small fridge. The personal at Cosy were really friendly and very uncomplicated.
Thank you guys!

This hotel is not a party place. It is for relaxation and serenity. The town is a 10 to 15 minutes walk. The pier, 7/11, bakery and many bars and restaurants. Tons of scooters which are basically the only mean of transportation if you don’t want to walk. A nice night market open nightly with good food and souvenirs. After being in Koh Samui for over a month as older people we enjoyed Thongsala because of the ease of walking to town. If you like to shop you will find hundreds of typical beach shopping. The town itself is surprisingly quite big. Definitely on top of our list for favorite beach town.

Thong Sala was our favorite city.
Thong Sala was our favorite city. Good energy, a lots of good food (a lot of vegan restaurants), markets.
Not too party and not too hippie. Was a good mix of everything and of locals and tourists.
Very good located to reach all the beaches with the scooter.

I love Thong Sala.
I love Thong Sala. Great food, bars and lots of things to do and see! They have Muaythai Chinnarach who provides the best training even if you just want to learn a new sport or keep fit! There is an english pub The Masons Arm - a friendly guy called Stephen will make you feel so welcome! Great beaches you can walk along and I love the sunsets from Becks Resort!

Clean little town with a big variety of restaurants.
Clean little town with a big variety of restaurants. Ask for Nopp - he is an amazing, flexible, affordable tour guide who feels more like a friend and takes you around the island at your own pace and wherever you want to go. He also offers bike/scooter riding lessons for you to do your own exploring on a bike/scooter. It is a popular means of transport in Thong Sala and the whole of Koh Pangan. Nopp's number is: +66 81 682 9727.

Tho gsala is a good central point to stay , you can then hire a scooter to visit the west (yoga and wellbeing community)and north where the good beaches are (Haad Yao ,Haad salad) or travel south to Haad Rin with sunrise beach and of course the full moon Party
Great food market!.
Hiring a scooter is a must to get around ,no buses and taxis will start at the pier but getting them elsewhere is a pain and your just have to wait
I only spent one night here (my last night) after arriving from a 3-night stay at Haad Rin for the new year party. I was very happy that I found a room near Thongsala Pier at a reasonable price on 1st January. From Panthip Market it is only a short walk (about 5 minutes), from the city center about 10 minutes walk This Hotel is cozy and quiet, it has a small pool for refreshment and offers coffe/tee in the morning. The owner and the staff are nice and speak good English. The rooms are big and clean.
the hotel wasn’t too far into the city but not close enough ( 10 min from the pier ) , the receptionist was a sweetheart , at check in he offered graciously to take us to the pier with his own car without asking for any extra charges. we had the private room villa which was amaziiiing , I have a phobia of bugs in general but I didn’t mind any of the flies because of the quality of the room , it was truly remarkable , best hotel I’ve stayed in in Thailand hands down and super affordable!!!
The room is okay and the bed is very comfortable. I think the location is also good and by the beach. It is not the best beach but you come to koh Pha-ngan you can roam around the island during the day, however, you can see a beautiful sunset by the beach at this spot. I really like the hotel vibe especially with all the trees so inside the area you don't feel so hot. The swimming pool is a little small as so many people use it or some family that brings children.
Our villa was right on the water and had wonderful views. It is cozy, spectacularly clean, and recently renovated property. The location in Thong Sala is central but peaceful, especially during parties, as it’s away from the main road. The owners are so kind, welcoming, and have great communication. They allowed early check-in and a place to park. Tristan made us feel at home and well taken care of. We can’t wait to stay again! Merci, ขอบคุณครับ
Beautiful bungalows with hammocks at the porch set in the midst of what looks like jungle
Very nice and relaxing hotel in a great location, very close to the village and lots of lovely cafes nearby. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards, which was great fun. Cars and scooters for rent just around the corner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We found our stay was absolutely perfect
Everything was nice. The Hotel is very stylish and minimalistic designed. We love the clean concrete look. The pool is a one too! All employees are very friendly and professional. Rooms are very clean. We will come back. Bathropes are in cotton and lays at the pool are wooden with Polster, rooms have Netflix and YouTube on tv! The breakfast was delicious. Rented Scooter was top top.
I actually took the wrong key out with me and had to break back in at 2.30am with some men who smashed a small paine of glass. I felt terrible about this, so the next morning I found a glazier who was willing to replace it for 100baht. The hotel accepted this and their communication with me over the issue was excellent.
Julian the owner was really helpful, polite and a great host
The small swimming pool was spotless and very quiet with an outside kitchen for bbq's etc.
The grounds were lush, green and well kept
Dreamville is not beachside, it's in the town. but it is very secluded and quiet. Thongsala 5 min walk away
New hotel in an interesting setting. Breakfasts a bit limited on choice but quite good. Showers are huge and have a nice view - really enjoyed that part. Finally a hotel that allows you to use the Netflix app on the TV (although you probably won't be doing too much Netflixing while in Koh Phangan...)
I had a very good stay on Phangan Barsay Hostel. Staff very friendly and willing to support you in anything you need. Location is one of the best, 5 min walkin from Thong Sala pier and night market.
The hotel is on the beach and has a nice pool and restaurant area. It is very close to Thongsala pier. Staff were very nice and helpful at all times. Towels available for the pool and beach.
The hotel has a very nice and well equipped beach.
The hotel owner and staff were super nice, gave us their kayak to go to a nearby island, was super cool.
The hotel restaurant is nice.
Nice and clean Little houses.
Kitchen functional. Warerpressure Good.
Staff extremly friendly and helpfull!!!
5 minutes bikeride from Thongsala.
15 minutes bikeride from Chaloklum.
Amazing Hotel with an Amazing Host! Took us to partys with his friends. We had a lot of fun. Also Shuttle to and from ferry pier was no Problem. Awesome time!
Great location in the center of Thongsala with pleasant staff and a big social table on the ground floor. Free hot and cold water as well as tea and coffee.
