I found the property's location, staff, atmosphere, and design to be excellent. Additionally, the owner went above and beyond by offering us a ride to the main entrance of Pamukkale, which was incredibly helpful. While the hotel isn't luxurious, it serves its purpose well. Its local atmosphere adds a special charm to the experience.

Great location right opposite the travertine and close to the hot air balloons take off site. Also plenty of restaurants and shops at walking distance.Hot air balloon ride was great. Our host Hakan was absolutely brilliant. Helped us with arranging activities and airport transfer and was available on WhatsApp when needed. He got us out of a very tricky situation with the rental car company when we were stranded at Denizli airport and needed taxi to Dalaman airport.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area.
It is a very beautiful and peaceful area. It's a good idea to include Pamukkale on your Turkey visit route. One day should be enough.
Note: entry to access the thermal pools is expensive but covers a very large area. Consider knowing if they have water so you don't make a trip in vain.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting.
The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting. The rest was a huge disappointment. We were unable to see any similarity with the tourist promotion photos. The white thermal pools with blue water can barely be seen. Cleopatra's pool is a trap for tourists. Extra payment is required.
The thermal pools are artificial, slippery and full of tourists. We have to walk barefoot on aggressive flooring.
The entrance at the bottom next to the city is a mistake. It requires you to walk up barefoot for more than 500 meters on very harsh ground for your feet.

This place is only worth visiting if you have never been there. Even so, you have to manage your expectation and forget about all the photographs about Pamukkale you saw, which is pretty much the magic of a good photographer. Most of the pool are dried and there are far too many people.
The Herapolis ruins is surprising good and well- maintained, which I would perfer to stay there longer. Our visit via the north gate is a good choice though.

I read many reviews of people complaining about lack of water or the site globally turning grey. Climate change. I was visiting mid September after months of no rain and water was enough to understand why even Cleopatra came there: Hierapolis (full) visit is amazing. I recommend people to read a bit the story of this city before visiting

You just need 1 day in Pamukkale.
You just need 1 day in Pamukkale. The best experience; wake up early and get to the South gate by 06H30, when it's not busy. Spend the first hour or so viewing the travertines and open-air ruins. There may be less water than what you see in videos. Rather than bathing the shallow, man-made travertine pools, get to the Ancient Pool by 08H00 and pay to swim there. It is an amazing experience before 08H30, when the crowds get there.
Our stay at Venus Suite Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel is located in a picturesque village of Pamukkale, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the necessary amenities. The on-site restaurant served some of the best traditional homemade food we've ever had. And Yunus, the hotel staff, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made our stay all the more enjoyable. Thank you, Venus Suite Hotel, for an amazing experience!
The best hotel I ever lived in during my whole trip in Turkey. It is definitely a great place for vacation. Don't let the picture fool you, the hotel is much better than what shows on the website.
The room is relatively large and well furnished with a small balcony. The food they offered is great. And even there's a small swimming pool here! But bear in mind the hotel is not located in a great place. you might have to depend on taxi and transportation that the hotel offered.
I enjoy the stay at Bellamaritimo hotel! They waited my arrival at night.
The room was clean and with everything we need. From the room you have a beautiful view of the Valley with balloons. The breakfast is the typical Turkish breakfast, good and full of things to eat!
The receptionist helped us organizing the visit at Pamukkale site that it is close to the hotel.
You can find also a bus station near by, from there you can go to denizli with public transport easily.
This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, period. We travelled all around Turkey and stayed in four different hotels and this place exceeded all the others in every way. It was comfortable, quiet, and clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast in the garden was delicious (and I usually think free breakfast is overrated), and there wifi works well enough for some video calls we had to take for work reasons. I definitely, definitely recommend.
I stayed at a hotel in Pamukkale the year before and there was very little in town other than restaurants geared towards tourists. Mucize Termal was 5 minutes from a pedestrian shopping/food street. Great food at a reasonable price was easy to find. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and easy to work with. I also appreciated the pool for swimming and the thermal pool to soak in. I'll definitely be staying there again next year!
The hottest shower in all of Turkey. The owner is great, and this is family run. Extremely friendly, and helpful. Great prices on a hot air balloon! We had free parking at the location, and they recommended we park at the top of pamukkale to avoid the walk up bare foot. Life savers.
The beds were clean, and so was the room. The included breakfast was mediocre.
For the price, I would say this location nailed it. I would gladly stay here again.
My second time staying here; same room with comfortable bed, huge shower, and plenty of hot water. The family that owns this place is so warm and welcoming and the location is prime with easy walking distance to anywhere in Pamukkale - including lower gate for climbing the travertine up to the ancient city ruins of Hieropolis. It's my favorite place beyond Istanbul and I'll always stay at Hotel Pamukkale anytime I return to the area.
Owner incredibly helpful. Flagged down minibus for us twice. Gave us fare info and directions to pamukkale and denizli train station. Helped us buy train tickets with his credit card because app would not accept ours from USA. Definitely recommend staying at his hotel due to his kindness.
One morning, hot air balloon flew so close to room patio that I was able to speak to and see the people in the balloon!
The staff was friendly. And it's one of the few hotel gave us the exact type of room we booked during our 2 weeks trip in Turkey.....The outdoor pool was small but warm as described. And there is interesting eco-friendly set up in the room-- the aircon will turn off automatically if you doesn't close the floor-to ceiling window to the balcony properly.(some might find it annoying)
There are only 2 good things about this hotel.
The first one is the pool and the thermal water and the second one is the time at when breakfast is served (6:00), so you can be very early at Pamukkale if you wish to do so. However, taking into account the quality of the food they serve here, probably you will skip breakfast anyway, so the breakfast time is not that useful.
The staff at this hotel are some of the loveliest people we have met in all of Turkey, a very lovely, genuine family who are interested in talking to you. We really appreciated them. The view from the breakfast balcony was stunning too! The rooms had everything you needed too which is good. Excellent location for what you want to see of Pamukkale!
Hotel was welcoming and super clean. We kindly got an upgrade from a triple room to a quadruple family suite which was just perfect. Even though we didn't have time to use the pool it looked clean and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was the most plentiful we have had in Turkey and dinner at the restaurant was really nice.
Everything was very good , friendly and cooperative staff, allowed us to check-in before the scheduled time , arranged taxi for us at last moment when we were about to miss our next bus to Izmir
Breakfast was very good and best so far for us in Turkey, highly recommend it
The hotel is very close to the Pamukkale Hierapolis and thermal pools, you can even walk there, there is no need for additional transportation.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was good.
The amenities were fantastic - including the shuttle to Pamukkale, the amazing breakfast spread and the responsive staff. We took a mini-bus from Denizli for 14 Lira and it dropped us off very close to the hotel (just tell the driver the hotel name).
Beautiful service, breakfast in the garden was the best in turkey! We easily walked to the town centre and visited Pamukkale. The room was extremely clean and had everything inc extra blankets and air conditioner. Loved our stay, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
The hotel is clean, great location, outstanding breakfast and I recommend dinner at hotel’s restaurant. The owner and staff is great and accommodating, swimming pool is a big plus. This was by far the best stay of our trip to Turkey
The bus stop is near the hotel and when you take a tour of pamukkale it's just walking distance by foot.
The staff are kind and the room is big and comfotable and you could go thourgh minenal water sho
The breakfast is amasing, the hotel is a bit oldfashioned. We enjoyed the thermal water in the room. The garden with the pools is also relaxing, the place is quite close to Pamukkale.
Location - near the Pamukkale
Very big territory
Tasty food
Pools and thermal water
Views
Big private parking
Dog friendly - that’s why we chose the hotel actually)
