The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Super clean and comfortable.
They clean everyday.
1 minute walking from the bikini beach and supermarkets.
The breakfast is in another building but walking distance and is nice and all fresh.
You can use the sunbed and umbrella in front of the beach for free.
Totally worth it.
Note: You can pay with card but it will be added 3%.

I got to experience the full Maldives here at this amazing hotel, very cozy and comfortable room and the staff here is on another level, super friendly and very helpful. They have their own diving and excursion Center. Must try - shark bank excursion, snorkelling with nurse sharks and visit a sand bank and it was such a great adventure. And also if you are a diver, you must go to the shipwreck diving which is 10 mins from the hotel. Loved the whole experience and Gulhi is such a peaceful island

We booked just for 1 night, but we would like to stay longer. Aqua Sunset is a wonderful place for relaxation. Armeen, the owner, was a very kind and helpful guy. He also arranged the private transfer with his own boat to the airport next day in the morning. Staf was amazing. Very tasty food at the restaurant. Definitely I will come again here, for several days. Thanks for everything guys and hope to see you again.

It is easy to walk around the Island. In ecvening we made 2 /3 circles around Gulhi Island and afterwards we tested all restaurants and the best was LAVISTA Cafe & bistro. They have a tasty food. There we had the best Tuna Steak in Gulhi.AlwinLatvia - 10Scored 10

Super friendly, safe, clean, quiet and with plenty of activities to choose from during the day. Restaurants with different types of cuisines available and the food is really good. And great coffee. Both beaches are absolutely stunning. Baby sharks and other marine life are always visible from shore when walking around the island.

A very welcoming island and with such friendly locals. It is a small island which is not that far from Male city or the airport by speedboat. There are some small restaurants and cafes that visitors can have snacks, drinks, tea and coffee. There are also many shops that sell everything visitors might need. Souvenir shops are also there and there are many items that can be bought at good prices. Cultural events are also there depending on the season and the occasions .Ahmed - 10Scored 10

It is a unique island, calm, giving you the right image for the local life! It has an amazing white sand beach and places with nice local food and fresh juices!!! The prices are really cheap! The energy and the atmosphere of the island is unique!!! Their people are smiley, kind, social and calm!!! It is very easy to get around Gulhi!

Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget.
Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget. We didn’t limit ourselves, we went on a couple of boat trips (which cost about 35-70$ per person) and bought whatever we needed (every meal was around 22$-36$), transfers cost around 25-35$ on a speed boat and 2$ on a public transport. All the restaurants, hotels and some shops accept dollars. The only disadvantage of the island, in my opinion, is that especially during low tide, the water in the ocean is knee-deep. Regardless of that the bikini beach is very clean and the corals are beautiful. Also I would suggest bringing fins with you because sometimes the current was really strong and renting them costs 5$.

Nice & cozy small island. You can find local & western food over here & they are serving nice coffee over here. Friendly locals is making you feel welcome to the Island. Walking at the beach and swimming in the sea is the 2 common activities over there. Lying on the beach chair & watching sun set is really enjoyable.

I highly recommend it for couples families or solo travelers The staff are highly customer oriented as they take care of each and every step of your stay from check-in to check out I noticed that they keep the place very clean (even cleaner than some 5* hotels) which is highly appreciated. There was a lot of construction work going on during my stay. The hotel accommodation is quite simple but offers a short walking distance to the 'bikini beach' where water sports are available for a price. Once we arrived at Gulhi Island we were picked up by Anna and Ibrahim. They were so lovely and made our stay really comfortable. Both run the hotel so great. Shyy and her colleagues looked after us very well. The room was very pleasant with good a/c. The accommodation is simple but perfect for a few days of relaxation on Gulhi. The beach is nice and the reef has good wildlife (we saw Eagle Rays, turtles, octopus and lots of fish only 200-300m from shore).
