Special shout-out to the manager who even cleaned our rental car because he couldn’t let us continue driving with a dirty windshield! For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. It was very peaceful on top of the hill. Kind hosts, delicious breakfast, and reliable WiFi. Beds were comfortable and property was clean. There is a shared lounge and a second room within the home, so you do need to be a bit mindful of others. We enjoyed the company personally from the other guests that were there at the same time.

AGP home is an accommodation located in Nuwara Eliya, 1.8 km from Gregory Lake and 5.7 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. The guest house also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Our host Ajhit was very kind to us, and getting to stay in his home after quite a harrowing time in our Kandy accommodation was heavenly. They served us tea and breakfast, and when it got really really cold at night they gave so many blankets and even a heater. The room is cosy and smelled of freshly laundered sheets. Our host also helped pick us up himself and later sent us back to Nanu Oya station, which was very kind. The home is also quite conveniently located nearby a bus stop. If I’m ever in Nuwara Eliya again, I’d love to stay here again.
