Located within 700 metres of Laos National Museum and 1.4 km of Wat Sisaket, House Of Jars provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Vientiane. I have been traveling for one year in SE Asia and this is the best hostel I've stayed in. Super nice staff, great coffee, comfy bed, good shower and nice little café. Also, great wi-fi. I could teach my online classes here, even though I suggest going to coffee shops nearby to vary the environment a little.

I wasn’t supposed to stay here. My supposed hostel cancelled my reservation 3 days before my stay. I’m glad they did! I stayed in a gem of a hostel for a price cheaper than what my previous offered. What I liked about the place is that the location is really nice. It’s away from the busy streets but very walkable. I stayed in the dorms all I can say is that it was designed properly! You can really have the privacy you need despite 7 other people staying in the room with you! The curtain blocks off most of the light from the outside. Also, even if you got an upper bunk bed, it’s easy to go up since there’s a mini staircase instead of a ladder. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel! One of the best hostel in the world!

Situated within 200 metres of Laos National Museum and 800 metres of Wat Sisaket, Lafami Hostel features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Ban Nongdouang. Clean, modern facilities. Very spacious hostel rooms with sufficient bathroom and shower rooms. Love that the shower is separate from the toilet, which isn’t common in SE Asia. The communal area with kitchen space is also very appreciated, where you can make coffee/tea and warm up food and store in the fridge. LOVED this hostel.

The hostel is clean and the bed is really comfortable with good matress but the location is not as close to the downtown. Most impressive thing about the hostel is they have really good staff to take care for you, at reception.

Lovely quiet location not far from River. Well situated in a nice house with lovely garden. Decent breakfast options. I had the back room with balcony.

Barn Laos Hostel in Vientiane provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The hostel is great, dorms are super clean and confy, a lot of privacy even in a dorm, plenty of space and everything you need to keep your stuff. Toilets are always clean and in good conditions, they have even toilets and showers for women separately. A plus that they have breakfast for you to prepare, and a kitchen for any need. Also a common area, good light, good location.
