The hostel is located along the road E6, 3 km outside Hamar and 120 km north of Oslo. The neighbouring Vikingskipet Arena was a 1994 Winter Olympics venue. Today, it hosts various sports, concerts and exhibitions. Very good breakfast, great staff, very helpful and friendly.

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Dombås, like hiking. Very nice spot above the center of Dombås and close to hiking trails in the Mountain. Cheap enough for the facilities it provides, for Norway and for the spot! We have enough space for two in a 4-bed-room and we enjoy the private toilet and shower. Also nice to have the possibilty to cook in the share kitchen and also the possibility to dry clothes and everything in a warm room next to the kitchen.

Lilleputthammer is 46 km from the hostel, while Lekeland Hafjell is 46 km from the property. The room and stay were as described. The room was very large. I was able to do laundry the night that I arrived and was pleased to have access to a kitchen, kettle, and good internet. I was traveling by train and it was a bit far from the station, but the host was kind enough to drive me on arrival and to my destination (Ringebu Stave Church) in the morning. The area is beautiful.

Just 3 km away is a lookout point for Snøhetta Mountain, while the Hjerkinn Train and Bus Station is 200 metres from the hostel. Fishing and hiking in the Dovre mountain range are common area activities. Bathroom was amazing and the room itself was simple but clean. Management and staff were really helpful and even went the extra mile to pick me up when I got lost. Definitely worth the price I paid
