It is definitely THE BEST place where we have stayed in Italy. We wanted to stay a little far from the hustle of a touristic place like Verona, but still get the taste of Italy and La Locanda was the right place for this. It is situated in a beautiful region, surrounded by vineyards, so the road leading to this location is like in a movie. When we got to the apartment everything was just right, the temperature was ideal inside, the beds were very comfortable, and there was some food and water in the fridge thanks to our host. The view from our balcony was also really nice _ there was a table and some chairs so we could enjoy a nice glass of wine in a beautiful scenery. There was a little supermarket in front of the location which was great. There was also a great restaurant downstairs and another one nearby- great Italian food. Our host was really friendly - she speaks mostly Italian, but she made us feel at home. We would definitely come back again.

Hotel staff is ecpecially worth of mentioning, they made us feel very welcomed. They made effort for our two years old child from food to having fun in hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - we missed our train and contacted the hotel to inform we were going to arrive late, and Giulia helped us with directions, transport options, train and bus timetables. We felt really looked after and welcome! There is a nice cocktail bar, with a good variety of snacks, pastries and sandwiches. All very fresh and tasty! Breakfast is a true feast! Lovely staff, we wanted to stay longer so welcome we felt!
