The bed was comfortable, the furniture was beautiful, and the bathroom exceeded my expectations. They provided a delectable made-to-order breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend staying here, and look forward to staying with these caring hosts in the future! Steve even gave us recommendations of places to stop along our journey that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. We stopped at the bridge in Carrbridge, House of Bruar and the falls behind it, and Hettie's in Pitlochry and loved all of these recommendations!

Perfectly located for hill walking, climbing, fishing, the Malt Whisky Trail, golf and all winter sports, this independently-owned hotel is found in the heart of Aviemore, in the Cairngorms. The economy room was much better than we expected. It was spacious and comfortable so much nicer than many hotel rooms. The room was also lovely and warm and cosy. Alan in the restaurant was exceptional and went out of his way to assist us even though he was very busy.
