Absolutely love the decor and standard of furniture, fixtures and fitting of this beautifully refurbished Georgian house. Extremely well decorated and furnished, spacious, with a large bar area, large restaurant with linen tablecloths, and a separate dining area for four-legged friends. Good to know that pets are welcome and are catered for, but those without pets can dine in a separate area. Bedroom (No. 7) was beautifully furnished, spacious with very comfy super king size bed and lovely walk-in shower room with a hot powerful shower. We didn't dine in the restaurant in the evening but we both had a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive. Finally, the price for B&B for two was very reasonable. What's not to like ??? Highly recommended !!!

Situated in the spa town of Moffat, Buccleuch Arms Hotel is a former 18th-century Georgian coaching inn which offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving award-winning food. We had a truly amazing stay there. The staff and the owner were really friendly and helpful with any and all questions we had. The breakfast was delicious delicious as well. Definitely recommend this place to all travellers.

The breakfast was perfect not greasy ,healthily done, coffee n juice perfect, got seaview table both days. Lisa was so lovely and helpful , so we're all the other girls.

Situated in Portpatrick, on a seafront location,The Harbour House Sea front Hotel has a beer garden, coffee and cocktail lounge, and free WiFi in all rooms. The location was amazing - right on the seafront. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay so that even if the weather was poor we would still have the experience. Food was wonderful and the staff and locals were so friendly to us and our doggie. Lovely sitooterie outside the hotel. We will be back!

My room was so beautiful, much better than the online photos gave it credit for. Even the curtains were beautiful! Every meal was made with love, and so delicious! Most certainly a home away from home ❤️

Originally an 18th century mansion, Cally Palace is now a sophisticated golf hotel just 48 minutes’ drive from the market town of Dumfries. Stunning location, beautifully restored property, extremely nice inside. Dog friendly with dog allowed to sit in conservatory bar and permitted to remain in room unattended. £10 charge per night for dog. Small but well maintained health and fitness suite with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a small gym area. Golf on site plus local forest walks in what was the house grounds. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Good choice of cold and hot breakfast items on a self service basis. Restaurant was high quality with very good locally sourced produce.
