Located just off the N7, the Abbey Court features an award-winning restaurant, a modern leisure center and full Irish breakfasts. Free parking is also available. The dinner menu was excellent and wait staff very efficient and skilled as there was a big crowd of us.. The location was perfect for walking into town and shopping/sightseeing. The staff was very kind and allowed us to check out a little past regular check out time so we could get dressed for the wedding we were going to. We had a ball!

Cahir House Hotel

Hotel in Cahir

Cahir House Hotel is on the town square, by the River Suir. It has a traditional bar, a bistro and a beauty salon, and offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. Cahir House Hotel is just a few steps away from the castle. From our room, we could see the castle lit up at night. Great for dreaming of knights and fair maidens. The beds are comfortable, but we arrived in a heat wave, and the poor little fan couldn't cool down the room. We were very fortunate to arrive at Trad Fest, so sitting in their bar and restaurant, we were entertained with live music. If you are staying at the hotel, have your meals there. The food is exceptional. Just like the food, the service is wonderful. A big thank you to Finnbarr for always checking to ensure my meals were gluten-free and my wine glass was full. I would definitely recommend this as a good location to see Rock of Cashel, swiss Cottage, Cahir Castle, and Jerpoint Abbey and so much more You can start your day with a full Irish breakfast or a buffet breakfast, which was included in our stay. then return at the end of the day for the wonderful dinner in a pub like atmosphere.
