The Granville Hotel in Waterford overlooks the River Suir and is a 5-minute walk from St Patrick’s Cathedral. It offers free internet access and, an award-winning restaurant. Loved this hotel, we found ourselves at a loose end after our ferry back to France was cancelled due to adverse weather. With little time to research we booked in at the Granville. Our one night turned into two and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. It's a delightfully old fashioned hotel, with attentive friendly staff. The bar is lively and the restaurant was very nice. Our evening meals were very good and the wait staff attentive. Breakfast was also very good. We had a view of the river from our room and were able to easily walk around everything Waterford had to offer from the hotel. I hope we get back to Waterford and I'd definitely stay at The Granville Hotel again.

In the heart Waterford City, with wonderful views of the River Suir, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi and parking, 2 restaurants, a riverside bar and 20m deck level swimming pool. Breakfast was very nice. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. There were lots of options for breakfast. Staff was super nice. We had a view of the Reginald Tower which added a little extra to our stay.

Faithlegg House Hotel is located on the River Suir Estuary, 5 miles from Waterford Airport. For me, it has to be the staff. Was attending a friends wedding and naturally for any destination wedding - there is a lot of alcohol. The staff were so warm and so accommodating to very random requests some of the guest had. The quality of hospitality and mannerisms are quite rare to find.

A haven of relaxation, this contemporary hotel and leisure centre is located on the outskirts of Waterford city centre and just 15 minutes away from Waterford Airport. When we arrived the staff was super friendly! They put us in the honeymoon suite…it was perfect. We loved the pool/sauna. Breakfast was excellent! If we visit Waterford again I would definitely stay here! We were playing a concert in Waterford. The hotel was right down the street from the venue. Perfect!

In Waterford’s centre, Dooley’s is a family-run hotel offering spacious rooms and full Irish breakfasts. Guests can enjoy weekend live music, and Christchurch Cathedral is just a 10-minute walk away. Location was good and staff was really friendly and cooked breakfast was very nice plus you had so much too choose from
