The scenery is amazing, huts on the beach are so relaxing. But really the staff is what makes the resort special, they are super sweet and helpful. Had a great time and there are some good surf spots nearby, but without being in the bustle of A Bay. Would highly recommend, especially for couples and small groups that would prefer a more relaxed experience on this coast. Definitely will go back

We had a perfect stay at Lucky Bay. The rooms are right on the main street at Arugam Bay, meaning you’re one turn away from most shops and eateries. We didn’t have to use an auto rickshaw the entire time we stayed. The rooms are standard for Arugam Bay in general, but very clean, relatively quiet at night and with good AC. Last but definitely not least, the host/housekeeper Mo was gracious, diligent and respectful. He goes the extra mile to help his guests with anything they ask, and deserves all credit for his great service. Big ups and all five stars to Mo and the team!

Very close to the beach and various restaurants and bars. the beautiful garden is very quiet and the rooms very comfortable and clean (with nice shower and working AC!). but the best part is definitely the owner Kayum (nickname crocodile), a special person, super helpful and very nice and the best smile. He helped me with everything and also organized great safaris in Yala and in the lagoon. the breakfast is delicious, the best avocado toast I had in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, it just feels like home. Garden Beach Hotel is the place to be. Grazie Crocodile, you have a place in my heart!

Tutto! Il miglior posto dello Sri Lanka fino ad adesso. Mr. pereira e sua figlia Amanda gestiscono egregiamente il posto che è elegantissimo e stupendo. Tutto lo staff è gentilissimo e ci ha aiutato ad organizzare ciò che ci serviva. Cibo ottimo, posizione direttamente sulla spiaggia e a 5 minuti dal surf spot. Si sente sempre il rumore del mare - stanze spaziose e pulite.

The Point Bay has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Arugam Bay. I loved my stay at The Point Bay! The room and bathroom were clean and there’s plenty of space. I work remotely and the room was perfect - there’s a desk and good internet. All of the staff are so kind and helpful, make you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious and very generous, perfect after a surf! The accommodation is in a perfect spot to wander down to the beach/surf, with the supermarket, cafes and restaurants all super close.

Very very nice and helpful owner, spacious and clean room with good AC and working wifi, great location! Although the place is located on the main street it is super quiet because the rooms are all the way in the back so there’s no traffic noise. Really good value for money!!

It was May and quiet. the ocean view, porch and water were all awesome. It’s a quick walk to the main break and gorgeous scenery. A nice little cabana with good space and a great drying rack on the front porch.
