Would highly recommend, especially for couples and small groups that would prefer a more relaxed experience on this coast. Definitely will go back

Very close to the beach and various restaurants and bars. the beautiful garden is very quiet and the rooms very comfortable and clean (with nice shower and working AC!). but the best part is definitely the owner Kayum (nickname crocodile), a special person, super helpful and very nice and the best smile. He helped me with everything and also organized great safaris in Yala and in the lagoon. the breakfast is delicious, the best avocado toast I had in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, it just feels like home. Garden Beach Hotel is the place to be. Grazie Crocodile, you have a place in my heart!

The accommodation is in a perfect spot to wander down to the beach/surf, with the supermarket, cafes and restaurants all super close.

Very very nice and helpful owner, spacious and clean room with good AC and working wifi, great location! Although the place is located on the main street it is super quiet because the rooms are all the way in the back so there’s no traffic noise. Really good value for money!!

It’s a quick walk to the main break and gorgeous scenery. A nice little cabana with good space and a great drying rack on the front porch.
