Our stay at the Snowhotel was the highlight of our trip to Norway! The staff were all so welcoming and they really take customer service seriously, from the receptionists to the restaurant waiters, the mushers and the guides, they made us feel special. We stayed the first night in the snow hotel in the first room with the fireplace. We were given a tour of the facilities and an explanation on how to sleep on the ice beds in the sleeping bags. We were afraid we would be cold but the sleeping bags were actually quite warm and you also get woolen socks and balaclavas. We had quite a comfortable sleep and it was certainly a once in a lifetime experience to try! The snow hotel itself is a work of art, each room is unique and there is an ice bar as well which serves drinks in ice glasses. It's definitely worth a visit even if you don't spend the night there. On the second night we stayed in one of the Gamme cabins, which are very comfortable and have a huge glass window perfect to look out for the aurora. The breakfast buffet and set dinner were delicious, serving local dishes such as reindeer steak, arctic char and king crab salad. They also cater to dietary preferences if you inform them in advance. Lunch is available at the Gabba restaurant, the choices a bit limited, but we enjoyed the free-flowing hot berry juice there. There is also tea & coffee in the lounge available for guests throughout the day. For activities, we highly recommend the husky safari, snowmobile tour and the Sami meet-up - it's hard to pick our favorite as they were all incredible experiences. You can borrow thermal overalls and boots for these activities, as well as skis, sledges and snow shoes.

Dit speciale iglohotel ligt op 20 minuten van het stadscentrum van Alta, aan gelijknamige rivier. Onvergetelijke ervaring. Heel gaaf om op een bed van ijs te slapen. Hotel is prachtig, mooie omgeving, heel vriendelijk personeel. Wij hadden op het laatste moment nog een excursie geboekt en het personeel had geregeld dat wij nog even ''snel'' iets konden eten, we werden er even tussendoor gedaan zodat we genoeg konden eten voor de excursie, heel fijn! Ontbijt was erg goed.

Central location, right next to the bus stop for the airport. Taxi can be booked in the lobby (they have a tablet there). Delicious breakfast with a great variety of dishes. Friendly staff. Nice room with a spacious bathroom.

Arctic Sea Hotel ligt in Hammerfest, op 9 minuten lopen van Struve Geodetic Arc, Hammerfest, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. Vriendelijk personeel. De huurfietsen waren allemaal verhuurd, zonder aarzeling kregen wij de bedrijfsbus van het hotel mee om de omgeving te verkennen. Klasse!

8 SEASONS is gelegen in Varangerbotn en heeft een gedeelde lounge, een bar en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Very charming, little hotel! Looks plain on the outside but is very nicely decorated on the inside. Rooms are quiet and furnished with style. Loved the sapmi wall-photos! Abundant self service breakfast!

Lille Chili Eat and Sleep AS ligt in Jakobselv en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Deze accommodatie heeft een conciërgedienst en een barbecue. What a super little place this is. Great location for the Varanger scenic route and for a quick dash to the Russian border (actually the road there goes through an astonishing and rapidly changing landscape), not to mention many local beaches and the azure blue sea. The food in the restaurant was great and the breakfast very adequate. But above all that, the staff were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. An added bonus are the destination chargers. Plus the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
