The cabin is perfectly situated in a dead-end street with magical views. It’s a short distance to the ski slope, and we skied down to the ski resort every day. You can also go cross-country skiing directly from the cabin into miles of beautiful ski trails. The host has thought of every last little detail, from available firewood to cloth hangers in every bedroom. There is plenty of washing detergent for dishwasher and washing machine. And the washing machine is also a combined cloth drying machine. And the owners have prioritized excellent sleeping mattresses.

Our expectations were fully met, it was very clean and cozy. Big pluss was having extra towels for everyone, which is not usual standard for area. Nice gesture from the owner was a bottle of wine and a drink left in the fridge for us. The view from the window is amazing. We would gladly come back someday again and definitely recommend to all.

Gaustablikk Sportshytte midt i naturen býður upp á fjallaútsýni og gistirými með grillaðstöðu og verönd, í um 4,5 km fjarlægð frá Gaustatoppen. Beautiful location and well equipped chalet. The interior is very cosy and stylish and even with some terrible weather, we still found it a lovely place to relax. Very handy to have the EV charging point to use at the accommodation. Would definitely recommend trying the floating Sauna at the Gaustablikk hotel as well as their pizza restaurant Stova and the bakery. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to recuperate after Norseman!

First of all the location is amazing, specially the view of mountains from the room and balcony attracts me more. The room is clean and also the apartment is spacious for stay upto 5 persons. We really enjoyed the place and would recommend others to visit there definitely. Also in addition to that host is friendly and cooperative.
