This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Every single aspect of our stay made it an exceptional one: the location was perfect, the rooms were cozy and clean, the food was always delicious and plentiful, and most of all: the warm yet professional service of the Bessheim was exceptional. At Bessheim, you can really feel and see everyone go the extra mile to make sure, you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. I highly recommend staying at the Bessheim and would love to return and stay even longer the next time.

Com vista para Sognefjord, este hotel no centro de Skjolden oferece um restaurante no local, estacionamento gratuito e quartos com Wi-Fi gratuito. The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, the beer list is amazing and long, dinners are outstanding. This place is literally perfect!
