Hunderfossen Family Park and Hafjell are 20 minutes’ drive away.... A small hotel in the heart of Lillehammer that’s perfect for taking a break from driving and close to Oslo. I have booked a room for two people which was wonderful and comfortable it had great cozy beds and full functional bathroom that had everything from towels to shampoo. Th view from the room window was something else, relaxing nature sounds and trees to help you sleep, which what I needed after 6 hour drive, also at the reception area you can find a little place that has few coffee and tea and you can buy something to eat like noodles, popcorn and chips to fill you stomach. In the morning I was welcomed to the most amazing and delicious breakfast I had which had everything and matched everyone from vegan to meat lovers , with your preferred drink hot or cold like fresh juice. The 3 stars was 5min walk to the open air museum which I loved and recommend every one to have a look to it.

This 5th-generation family-run hotel dates back to 1877 and is located in Hafjell Mountain, 17.5 km from central Lillehammer. It offers a private 9-hole golf course. The staff was extremely helpful. Good location and breakfast. Attention to details.

Featuring spa centre with a sauna and both indoor and outdoor pools, this hotel is only 900 metres from the Lillehammer Train Station. I was traveling with a four year old, so from that perspective I can say the following: By the reception there’s a playroom for 0-4 year olds (with two comfy chairs for the adults!) which was highly appreciated. There was also an activity room a few floors down for older kids (ping pong table etc). The indoor pool was great! The spa had a quiet section that was separate from the pool, I really liked this as it made me comfortable bringing my kid to the pool without being a nuisance to others. Great breakfast for both kids and adults! The restaurant also had a decent kids menu for dinner. Great outdoor area to let your kids run around (also with mini golf). Really nice and helpful staff.
