I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in the countryside of Tromso, Norway, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The hotel was located in a stunningly beautiful area, surrounded by lush forests and snow-capped mountains, and the peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the standout features of this hotel was the exceptional local food served in their restaurant. The meals were prepared using the freshest local ingredients, with many of the vegetables and herbs grown on-site. The menu featured a variety of traditional Norwegian dishes with a modern twist, and each course was a work of art on the plate. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and the presentation was impeccable. The staff were also incredibly welcoming and helpful, with great recommendations for local activities and excursions in the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tromso, especially those looking for a peaceful countryside getaway with exceptional local food. It was truly a magical experience, and I can't wait to return.

Free coffee/tea/hot cocoa makes really a difference during stormy weather when you can’t go out! Great buffet breakfast. Very close to the city centre, convenient for us to walk around Tromsø. The room is clean, we stay at level one which is just beside the walkway, might be a bit noisy when someone walks pass. Overall it is good, for convenience and the price I will stay again.

Featuring a sky bar and rooftop terrace on the 11th-floor, this central Tromsø hotel is located at the harbour, overlooking Tromsø Sound and the Arctic Cathedral. Concept was great, room design was fantastic. View from the room at the Arctic Cathedral fantastic. Breakfast selection was top notch.

The dinner was more than excellent. The checking was easy. The staff of two men was outstanding. This a very informal and casual situation and there is someone available at any time. The setting is on the water and spectacular. One member of our party required gluten and dairy free food. This was not a problem as they had food for her wirh no advanced notice. This is an old property kept in excellent condition. We will be back on our next trip to Norway. We have been to Norway 10 times and this is one of the best places we have stayed at. Incidentally the property is not in Harstad but is on E6. I highly recommend this property
