Bridget and her family have been wonderful hosts, also providing delicious breakfast and even dinner on request. Even some toys for our kids :) Very friendly atmosphere where you can meet other travelers and share meals all together. If you like more personal experiences than hotels, don't hesitate. The house is big, the rooms are cozy and the location is conveniently close to Voss and Bergen. Thank you very much, we'll do it again if we come back to Norway!

The breakfast was great, including a nice selection of gluten-free and vegan food. The hotel is in a wonderful location - literally right at the train station and walkable to "downtown" Voss. We loved the vibe at this place. Very friendly and warm. Nice veranda off the lobby. Rooms were very simple but comfortable and cozy. Lots of places to hang gear, since Voss is such an outdoorsy/active place.

Beautiful views from this quiet, clean and well equipped little cabin in the ski area above Voss. It is someone’s holiday home, which may not suit if you are looking for more of an impersonal “serviced apartment” type experience but was a good stopover for us for a night on our travels toward Bergen.

It is out of season so Voss was very quiet, which we didn’t mind as we got to enjoy the area. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are the most comfortable we’ve had in a long time!! Free team coffee in the lobby. Stunning views of the fjords.

The location is great, pretty close to the main road from Flam to Voss. The views are absolutely stunning!!!. The (family room) is spacious and very nice (looking better than at Internet pictures...).The dinner was good.

Nice looking building and vintage interior. Hotel is located right next to the station an Voss gondola to get upto the mountain. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Swimming pool with jacuzzi was also a plus.

Lots of common facilities, kitchen, dining room and terrace to hang out. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Views overlook Voss town. Although the location is not central, the hotel is near several hiking tracks.

The location is the best in VOSS. Train station, Gondola, Fjord cruise bus start point all at walking distance Hotel is strategic ans scnic location. Car park in from of room Kitchen very convienient

Can't beat the view from the window. The location in the middle of the Voss region fitted our plans like a glove. The cabins look like brand new . Facilities are pretty clean.

Comfortable hotel in quiet and rural area, outside Voss. Nice traditional farmhouse atmosphere. Friendly owner and personnel. Good restaurant. Very relaxing!

Top location and easy to get there by bus (from Voss) . Modern and very clean hotel. Cozy atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast. Delicious pizza.

We had a wonderful time at the lodge, which is set in beautiful nature with many hiking trails around. Somewhat remote and not as frequented by tourists it was still easily accessible by train thanks to a nearby train station. We arrived by train from Bergen and after a short hike down a bit of a bumpy but beautiful path through the woods, arrived safely and were warmly welcomed by the hostess. We were served yummy breakfast and enjoyed the home cooked dinners in the evenings after active days. We definitely recommend this hidden gem and are planning to go back there again.
