Exceptional location, right on the beach in a lovely bay. Room was spartan (no wardrobe, desk, luggage stand) and there were no toiletries, not even a hand soap in the bathroom and the Cable TV basically did not work but the exceptional location made up for it. The bay is secluded but there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby within easy walking distance. The adjacent restaurant is upmarket and serves great cocktails and good food (at a price).

Set within 200 metres of Sai Kaew Beach and less than 1 km of Ao Phai Beach, Baan Mulan offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ko Samed. Old man owner is of the purest of hearts. Made us feel so welcomed and bent over backwards to make sure our stay was as great as possible. Room was a good size, very clean and better than the picture advertised.

Extremely clean, comfortable beds, super friendly & helpful service, free coffee & beach towels & beach loungers, even foot shower to keep sand outdoors, awesome beach location , great beach bar at night with cool vibes. Overall we had an amazing stay .

Clean and great staff! Great room with bathtub on the ground floor! No beach super close but the hotel itself made up for that. Would recommend!
