Our unit had its own private pool, which was wonderful after a long, hot day on the road. In addition to towels in the bathroom, beach towels were provided for the pool. The unit itself was large, comfortable, well equipped and clean. In addition to air-conditioning, the unit had solar-powered lights for load shedding. Check-in was easy and the hosts friendly and helpful. And the views were stunning!

Lovely room and surroundings. Well worth driving there. Comfortable bed and accommodation is well equipped. Solar power which demonstrates you can live off grid in great comfort! We loved the birds that came to visit. Quiet location where you can see the stars at night!

Liz, Francois and the dogs were so welcoming! The cottage is beautiful, spacious, bright and nicely decorated. It is lovely and warm and the gas heater and electric blankets were great touches. Wifi works well and just a fantastic place to stay. Highly reccommend staying here:)

Akkerdam Bed and Breakfast está en Calvinia, en la región de Provincia Septentrional del Cabo, a 15 min a pie de Calvinia Museum. I like our staying here. We didn’t expect such a good breakfast. And the owners of the hotel were very nice with us. It felt safe.
