Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, THE PLACE Muizenberg is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Muizenberg, 600 metres from Muizenberg Beach. Staff were fantastic, really went out of their way to accommodate our needs and were super reasonable. Great communication via WhatsApp before and during the stay. We used their airport pick up service too, which was great. The King suite was clean, functional and nicely decorated with comfy beds, a fantastic shower and a good panoramic view. Well kept pool terrace (though we didn’t use the pool) and common areas too- the honesty bar was very convenient and good value. Location is good, less than 10 min walk to the beachfront and all the restaurants etc, along what feels like a pretty safe route (though you can cheaply Uber it if you want to). There’s a couple of small supermarkets also within walking distance. Breakfast was decent, not a huge range but enough to satisfy and fit most dietary requirements. I had really nicely cooked eggs and tomatoes and they have self service buffet with bread (and a toaster), spreads, good quality fresh fruit and cereals.

Kommetjie
By far the best outlet we stayed in during our trip in South Africa and one of the best we ever visited. Wonderful location, fantastic food, attentive and kind staff and great facilities. Long beach is a great hub to discover Cape Peninsula & surrounds. We were spoilt throughout our stay, with one surprise after the other from the team who truly made this stay memorable. Magic experience - thank you Last Word!
Hout Bay
Great location, quiet, and easy access to local amenities. Very well placed for day trips into Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula and the wine lands. Apartment is modern, clean and spacious, with a very large terrace. Secure underground parking a bonus. Gavin, the host, was very helpful in communicating prior to arrival and in offering recommendations for places to eat - all of which were excellent.
I've enjoyed my stay in the hotel,I'll book again for next year cause Cape Peninsula race will be next year February Please if you can arrange shuttle because we struggled to get transport to Bergvliet
Very nice hotel with very gentle staff. Perfect room with nice view of the mountains. The hotel is very close to boulders beach and a good point to start a trip to the cape peninsula.
Wonderful Place, Staff (Lauren, Andrew and Taryn), view, location. Don’t miss the market right Below. Friendly, accomodating and sincere. Extraordinary view. I could put the 132 steps to the guesthouse as a minus but Will put it in as a plus, extra training. If you have diffuculties climbing stairs this might not be the Place for you, but my 70-year-old mother-in-law made it, and it is definitely worth the climb once you get there.
The views, the hot tub and the host.
So good we stayed another night. Super close to the main seafront, super safe and secure and the staff are lovely!
Very clean and lovely set up. Nikkita was fantastic and made us feel very welcome and we even shared a few laughs. Highly recommend :)
The view was amazing and the landlord was extremely helpful and friendly!
The views were superb from our bedroom to where we enjoyed our daily breakfast. The hosts were very pleasant and very helpful. The service was topnotch. One of the owners got up early in the morning to help us with our suitcases.jWe were asked, on more than one occasion if everything was to our satisfaction and if we needed anything. I would certainly return and I have no hesitation in recommending the Dream House to anyone.
Absolutely incredible, best place to stay in Cape Town. Service standards, room amenities and the location are all amazing!
The views and location was amazing! Such beautiful sunsets and beach.
I ordered this guesthouse from a cafe in Simonstown half an hour before I arrived, seduced by the price. Once in the evening in a city with a Dutch name, I didn`t think to be in the house of a real Englishman. Although I've only been to London and Gibraltar, this is probably how a piece of England in South Africa should look. Anthony, the host of the guesthouse, is hospitable, but hospitable in English. They don`t impose anything on you, but only offer it, respecting your privacy. The guest house is located in the courtyard, next to the pool, which I didn`t dare to plunge into. After all, July is winter in South Africa. Even if it's not as cold as ours. I was afraid that it would be cold in the wooden summer house at night, but the heater was working properly. In the evening Anthony treated me to wine in an iron mug. It's very Russian to drink wine (and any other alcohol) from iron mugs. The breakfast was very good. And a few kind words about Fishhook. It was such a happiness to walk through this town on a dark evening after Cape Town, where you had to be at home already in 6. If you want to stay healthy.
Location, the room, the facilities, the hosts, etc... Everything was perfect. Broad choice for breakfast, including homemade granola and eggs of your choice.
Breakfast was amazing as always
