Jeffreys Bay on 27 km kaugusel. on arrival it was a bit disappointing due to a noisy group of people. This is resolved fine. Staff are very nice. The chef is amazing!

Located 700 metres from Robertson Mall in Robertson, The Robertson Small Hotel features a restaurant, bar and 2 pool areas. Free WiFi access and free private parking is available. All the staff were amazing. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Dining in the courtyard was just lovely. Gardens were really beautiful and well manicured. Outside areas to relax in were lovely and very peaceful. We stayed for a 2nd night and were upgraded to a beautiful room directly onto the large pool. Facial in the spa was amazing and so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this small hotel to others visiting Robertson. Recommend booking one of the large rooms.

As soon as you drive into the De Opstal property you sense this is a different kind of place. The owners don’t just DO hospitality as a means to an end; they ARE hospitality embodied. It feels like it’s their life’s mission. De Opstal’s old charm accommodations are surrounded by magnificent flower gardens, fruit trees, and fields that are not over-manicured, rather reflective of the owners’ true love of nature and deep desire to create an environment for their guests that engages all their senses. The only downside was having to leave this slice of paradise.

Hotell Karoo Art asub Barrydales, 35 km kaugusel Grootvadersboschi looduskaitsealast. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. We loved the quirkiness of the hotel that was its real charm. The art on the walls and all the decor had real charm and character. There is a proper bar area where on one evening they had a very good pianist playing. You definitely get the feeling that the hotel is something of a hub for the village and community and a lot of activity centres around it. Some of the rooms are bigger and nicer than others, and we were able to change ours to a nicer more spacious one. Staff were very accommodating and helpful and we’re able to advise and arrange lots for us to do- on that don’t miss a dip in the local fresh water river - a wonderful start to our day! Breakfast was really delicious with lots of variety. Garden and pool area was very pretty and a lovely place to relax as well.

Super friendly staff. Value for money. Nice pool looking out on pond with cool birds. Peaceful. Cute 3 dogs. Regret not being able to stay a day longer.
