The hosts were so helpful and gracious. We enjoyed walking through the olive grove, amongst the sheep, petting the horses, hearing the chickens, picking fresh juicy figs from the trees. The pool was refreshing and had wonderful views. Our breakfast was the most delicious fresh foods ever. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we come back to Portugal, this is where I want to be.

Quinta do Borges was a beautiful, peaceful, rural location, but was also close to Guarda so all amenities were close by. Apartment Quinta do Borges 2 is a lovely, but very quirky property. The bedroom was spacious and warm, with a large and very comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom had an excellent shower. The kitchen was quite traditional and the layout took a bit of getting used to, but had everything you might need for self-catering. The hosts, Fátima and Fernando, were very friendly and helpful and were on hand next door, had we needed them. We didn't have as much time as we wanted to explore the grounds but we would definitely return for another stay in the future and hope to explore more next time.

We enjoyed our time in this well equipped and spacious apartment. We found everything that we needed for our stay and were glad for some extra sightseeing & restaurant tips from the host, who always responded quickly and made the check-in/ check-out process super easy. The location is very convenient and we were especially happy about the great view. All furnishings and decorations are well considered to make the guests feel comfortable and welcome! We would love to come again!
