Very pleasant converted, old granit farmhouse and courtyard. Exceedingly well done and very comfortable, clean and cared for. We were very well looked after by exceptionally pleasant people. The room and bathroom were very large and everything very nicely done. Breakfast contained a wide variety of dishes which were replenished when emptied.
It is also well positioned if you wanted to explore Guarda, a much underrated, very old city.

Basic accommodation. Was what I needed but would be considered too basic for families or people expecting a hotel

The owner is a delight, does not speak a word of English, but we had absolutely no trouble in communicating with her.

A lot of space for a big family, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets. Big terrace, but we didn’t use it due to the bad weather. Free pig parking near the building

Imposing old city centre with its medieval cathedral.
Imposing old city centre with its medieval cathedral. Shame that 2 old houses on main square are left neglected and in disrepair. Strolling through the old meandrous streets in the ancient Jewish quarter is a must
Breakfasts were great -- many choices, good food, and a wonderful experience being on the top floor of the hotel with great views. The interior decor was pleasant and spacious. The hotel was conveniently located to the center of Guarda with the churches and castle. We especially loved being able to take the fast elevators upstairs for chef-quality dinners. There was good parking in the basement garage.
Hotel was very clean and the reception lady (most likely the owner) was super sweet and helpful. Room was clean and welcoming, the bed was very comfortable and bedsheets were the softest I have ever found in hotels.
Breakfast didn't have much variety but had fresh fruit and bread, it was simple and enough. Great location, within the older part of the city very close to the Cathedral.
You can’t ask for more. It’s a small family owned hotel. Wonderful place to stay. Super cosy with a comfortable bed. Every little detail is well made. We felt very welcome. Joaquim and his family are the friendliest hosts you can imagine. The breakfast is perfect. We will be back soon.
This apartment is perfect. Really comfortable for our family of 4. Location is very central and you can easily park on the street beside the building. Excellent value for money. Easy check-in process. Guarda is a really charming town. We were very happy there.
Everything about this hotel was excellent. We arrived earlier than expected but the receptionist made us feel very welcome and arranged for our room to be ready at this earlier time. Excellent room and breakfast.
Location was at an olive farm a few kilometres out of Guarda. It was quiet and peaceful and had a lovely view across to the mountains across the valley. The hosts were friendly and chatty.
We loved our stay here, it's right in the centro of old town Guarda.. it's right next to the Se cathedral, the location is excellent! The hostess is very sweet and a pleasure to meet with.
A very modern, comfortable and clean hotel, 15 minutes walking distance away from the town center. The room was big, the staff were polite and breakfast was pretty good.
A Beautifully renovated quinta in a traditional Portuguese way, with all of the comforts of an amazing hotel. PLUS a wonderful family who runs the place. Go!
An old-fashioned, simple, basic hotel. We had a lovely short stay for an event at the Municipal Theatre. The owner was extremely attentive and helpful.
