Lovely hotel, loved the decor. Helpful, friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a good spread, with a good coffee choice. From the room I could see the Serra de Estrela. The hotel is right in center of the town, easy to walk to shops, bars etc.
Nestled high in the mountains of Serra da Estrela Natural Park, this guest accommodation features panoramic views of valleys and lakes. It offers an on-site restaurant.

Everything is new and well-designed. The personal age friendly and helpful.
I really enjoyed view during the breakfast - on the mountain and Seia.
Casas da Lapa is a modern hotel ideally situated on a hill top, inside the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela. It is located within a typical mountain village, Lapa dos Dinheiros.
Located in Seia city centre, Casa do Vidoeiro dates back to the 19th century and offers modern, self-catering studios and apartments. It sits 24 km from the highest point of Serra da Estrela Mountain....
Boasting mountain views, Villa Alzira features accommodation with an open-air bath, free bikes and a garden, around 29 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela.

Fantastic service, the rooms are very well kept and the view is amazing. The hosts were wonderful and so helpful. The food was an experience on its own. It felt like we were invited into the home.
Offering a garden and garden view, Quinta da Cerdeira is situated in Seia, 28 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela and 41 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach.

The calmness, the farm animals and the food was great.
Situated just 30 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, Alojamento 4 Bicas offers accommodation in Seia with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service.
On average, it costs US$76 per night to book a 3-star hotel in Seia for tonight. You'll pay on average around US$81 if you choose to stay in a 4-star hotel tonight, while a 5-star hotel in Seia will cost around US$226 (based on Booking.com prices).

The only issue was I thought we were getting one space and we got another. Otherwise, the place was beautiful and clean. The hosts were beyond gracious...welcoming, wonderful. We will definitely go back. It was an extraordinary and wonderful trip.

Nice little town.
Nice little town.
I is a little uncharacteristic nowadays, with some new uncontrolled construction
Still, you're able to find some nice spots for a couple of photos and good places to visit and also eat

Only went into Seia once during our stay but wished we'd spent more time there. Difficult time to review things because of all the restrictions at the moment. Recommend Taberna to eat, great food and lovely service.

Perfect getaway from busy life.
Perfect getaway from busy life. At the foothills of serra de estrela, the tiny villages, especially Sandomil, was a great break. The hosts at Sandomil RiverBeach Nest were fantastic. The house by the river is relaxing and zen. I would definitely come back.

Quiet, calm, pleasant and spacious city, many shops and offices, you can solve any issue, from shoe repair to laptop repair. There are 3 interesting and unique museums (Bread, hydropower and toys), several good roads to the mountains, clear water in the tap, a lot of forests and springs. Good Italian, Neapolitan pizzeria in the city center with an outgoing owner and quality pizza.
The breakfast was poor - very little choice and not very appetizing. Did not like not being able to select my own food - we stayed at many hotels in August and this was the only one that did not permit self-service. The dining room was depressing - dark and needed updating. Only had breakfast there on first morning. Couldnt face it again!!
On the upside - the lady on reception was always very cheerful and helpful... she deserves a special mention
What we didn't like was the location was a 15-minute walking up a steep road after check-in at Casas da Lapa. Then the bathroom is upstairs (15 steps) with no railing to grab to. It's totally unsafe for us seniors. They should mention this to someone who is looking to book at Soito. Must say, though, the management remedied the situation by transferring us to their wonderful Casas da Lapa Hotel. A heart felt thank you to Nuno.
I think it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we were greeted with a porto tonic, to an amazing dining experience and everything else in between - it was perfect. It's a bit of a ride up the hill to reach the hotel but once you are there you will be surprised why you've never came there before.
Peaceful, beautiful and you can tell everything in there has been done with love to every detail.
The food was amazing, the service was lovely. Everyone was super kind and we really felt welcomed.
It doesn't feel like a typical hotel with a big hallway and everything fancy, and we missed nothing. We even loved even more the picturesque vibes it gives, and how it blends into the mountain landscape.
One of the top moments was the picnic 🧺 we ordered as an extra to take to our hike in the mountains 👌🏼
We stayed here for a week. Anabela is the sunshine of the guesthouse. Always upbeat and extremely helpful. Breakfast is very diversified, whit flapjacks, cakes, croissants, fresh fruits... Surroundings are stunning, you can't find a more peaceful place in the middle of nature. Restaurants are located in Seia, a 15 min drive but there is a fully equipped kitchen available if you feel like staying 'home'.
The rooms are brand new, location is near "fluvial beach", surrounded by nature.
The hotel restaurant serves quality traditional Portuguese food in a very nice setting and fair prices.
The hosts, Andre and Catia, are fantastic people who truly take care of their guests. They helped us plan our tour, recommending excellent restaurants and places to visit in the region.
Location was good, the room was clean and nice but above all I must recognize the great & helpful hospitality.
we use the hotel as our base for 2 days hiking in the area and found it as central place to meet our expectations.
they have small and nice swimming pool even the weather didn't allow us to use it.
Breakfast is served and it is good.
Located outside Seia, but nearby on a quiet location. Excellent space, super spacious and comfortable. Very well decorated and equipped, makes for a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the region and want a quiet, cozy location to stay that is more than your typical hotel room.
The breakfast was great! everything at the hotel was cean and tidy, and the staff we so friendly. Will definitely return next time, hopfully when its not raining so much so we can engoy the pool. Secure Car Parking, and only a 5 min walk into Seia (up a fairly steep hill).
The breakfast was wonderful and very good!:) Employees of the hotel were excellent - very helpful! Location was good. Parking was OK - but a little steep driveway to get into and out of parking lot. But plenty of parking available.
Really nice place if you are wondering visit Serra da Estrela. Despite we didn´t stay at the main house, the property is amazing, full of history, and Luís was always available for us. Very nice breakfast with regional products.
Very strong location inside the old town of Seia, space highly designed to be at the same time old and modern. The building keeps clean bathrooms and confy beds, a common kitchen to be used and a living room with wi-fi.
Very nice, quite location near end of gravel road. The hosts are wonderful and warm and serve a fantastic breakfast. Close to Seia and the big mountains. We had a delightful time during our visit!
Location is great, very close to Serra da Estrela and 10mins from Seia. The host (Joao) was very kind, and proactive to help us with all our questions!
