Perfect location in one of the old houses in Odunpazari. Everything you need for a short stay (restaurants, bakery, public transport, museums) is within a walking distance. The staff in the hotel was extremely kind and polite, we were allowed to checking a bit earlier than normal checkin time. The beverages and snacks in the room were market price and there was free water/tea and coffee in the room.

Compact very clean room - well thought out to maximise usage. Enough space to lay out 2 hand luggage cases and there were 3 hangers for clothes. Good to have a little bedside table and electric socket each side of the bed. Kettle, fridge and tv - but only 2 plug sockets within their reach, ok for us as we didn't use tv. One bedside light not working. Bathroom - again great use of space but glass shelf not screwed down properly and dangerously loose. Loo seat not properly fixed. All minor and would be easy to fix with the right screws and tools. Tastefully decorated, light and airy room with thermostatically controlled temperature. Ideal for short 1-3 day stays. Great place, just a few minor snagging issues. Wifi not working though.

Odunpazarı district is full of ottoman era houses and have unique and calm atmosphere. Restaurants serve some delicious Crimean Tatar dishes (for example mantı - typical example for all cuisines of Turkic nations). I only wished I stayed more to have more time to climb the hill south of Odunpazarı - panoramic views must be magnificent.

Big town with lots of activities yet with not have many historical places like Istanbul, visit it for a real local Turkish experience. It has malls and local shops and bazaars. Also, the local food places are lovely. Natural parks are all around the town. Last but not least the unique vienece-like experience of taking the boat tour in the city's water canals.

Eskisehir has a very important place in Turkish War of Independence. Many decisions were taken here and battles were fought. For us Turks, it has a very special place. However, thanks to the Mayor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Buyukersen, the town has transformed into something truly amazing. You can't help but notice the respect shown to trees and parks which is overwhelmingly beautiful. Maybe even unique in the country. Being home to 3 established universities, students make up a large proportion of the town's populace. It is especially good to see so many young people around. The locals are calm & friendly and they do not litter, which is amazing on its own. There are many interesting museums to visit, and old renovated houses which house artists ateliers etc. Go there, you will like it

I thoroughly enjoyed exploring various parts of Eskisehir, but if I were to pick favorites, Porsuk River's riverside promenade offered a serene escape, and the vibrant local markets added a touch of authenticity to my experience.
During my stay, I had the pleasure of dining at a few local eateries that left a positive impression. One memorable meal was at a traditional Turkish restaurant near the city center, where I savored delicious kebabs and mezze.
Yes, getting around Eskisehir was relatively convenient. The city's well-connected tram system made navigating the urban area hassle-free, and walking was a pleasant option for exploring nearby attractions. Taxis were also readily available for longer distances.

Eskisehir is not the primary destination for tourists in...
Eskisehir is not the primary destination for tourists in Turkey and when it comes to historical and architectural heritage, the city has very little to offer, despite being really old like even its name tells us. But it is the most European city I have seen in Turkey. It also has a young and liberal population due to being home to three large public universities. Abundance of parks, many good museums, mentioning here the modern art museum and the wax museum, beautiful river promenades with plentiful and reasonably priced cafeterias, a small but colourful old quarter, small statues and figures adorning squares and parks - all this makes it worth at least a brief visit.
Eskişehir was my last stop after traveling in Turkey for a month and this place really suited me.
I felt like home there, stayed in a dorm, bathroom was in the room, bed really comfy and linens all clean .
They allowed to stay longer after my check in and i could use laundry machine at no cost .
The lady who does the cleaning doesn't speak English, but she was always smiling and make efforts to understand me
location was amazing,in a really quiet street, but really close to the busy areas .
i enjoyed my time in there
The hotel is one of the best hotels I've ever seen. The interior designs are on top. It has everything you need, and the staff is very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. It's situated on a hill, so if you're a traveller without a car maybe it's better to take a taxi. I went there by foot. It's feasible but a bit tiring.
We initially stayed for two nights but came back here and stayed 3 nights. The hotel owner is a very nice person and helped us out of the way. He helped us in car booking and advising us about sites to visit.
We will definitely stay here again if we ever come to Eskisehir
The location is great, as it's walking distance from the interesting places in the city. I also appreciate the staff's stellar English-speaking skills: after spending a week in Southwest Turkey, communicating with ease is definitely a very positive thing.
Very good 4 star hotel in the direct vicinity of shopping area. Also near main road to enter or leave Eskisehir. I had a very good bed and even the early morning appeal from the imam for prayer was hardly hearable
I liked so much this hotel, I stayed just one night but it was amazing, so clean, big room, great location, good stuff, sure I will back again.
