The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very close to the beach/boardwalk with a convenient entrance and exit. Environment felt safe and inviting but not stuffy . Hotel was extremely quiet minus the noise of the Fridge/Air conditioner.

The staff couldn't be more welcoming and friendly, top notch! The room was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Internet is fast. Location is perfect, you are right where all the action is (we were there off season, so we were lucky to have the boardwalk almost exclusively to ourselves)

Memorial Day Weekend:
I really liked that it was connected via a short ramp onto the boardwalk of the beach. Very easy access to and from the room. It was sunny and lively during the day, very family oriented. We felt very safe.
The location was great to bring our small-medium dog. The hotel is very pet-friendly. There was even a diner right on the boardwalk close to the hotel which was dog-friendly. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner there. We also walked our dog on the boardwalk, leashed of course.
The outside deck on the 2nd floor is great! You can view the boardwalk, beach and area. There are tables, and couches with umbrellas and shade. We actually brought breakfast and had it out on the deck. In the evening we brought wine and relaxed up there. Pets are also allowed on the deck.

There is so much to do at wildwood. The beach is beautiful the boardwalk is so much fun and entertaining, food is great, streets are quiet at night and evening is pretty respectful. The city play parks are really nice and the area is clean. Just a great place all around. There really is not one thing I dislike when I visit wildwood.

We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY.
We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY. We were very disappointed how many places were already closed or closed wayyyyyy earlier than the advertised time. BARS INCLUDED, some before 11 PM. I was very surprised.
We did eat at the Surfing Pig and that was great, then headed to the The Lazy Bass for a night cap. Nice outside bar on the water with live music and very friendly staff! We would definitely go back to both places again!

Beach, boardwalk and bars.
Beach, boardwalk and bars. If you like that sort of thing, this is the place for you. Other activities on the island can get a little expensive but that is expected from a tourist town. Props to the people at Wildwood Waverunners and the Thundercat dolpin watch. Always a great time. I usually to to get down there right before Labor day when a lot of the Shoobies go back home because of school starting.

We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood.
We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood. It was our first time and we were all very pleased with our vacation. Wildwood is a great family holiday - good for multi-generational families who have grandparents and kids travelling together. Lots of opportunities to make good memories. Great for small children as well as teens.
Some of the restaurants in the area were expensive, but if you plan properly, some meals could be made in advance (picnic lunch at the beach or breakfast at the hotel). Most of the coffee in the area were really good. The boardwalk is great for walking or biking, even sitting and just people watching. Lots of opportunity for shopping - souvenir t-shirts and hoodies can be found every where, so take your time to pick out what colours and logos you would like on yours.
Highly recommend pizza from Founder's Grub & Pub, Polish ice water and ice cream and Quincey's original lobster rolls - amazing! Captain Jack has a drink special every night and discounted food between 4 and 6pm daily.
For a great inexpensive breakfast, head over to Alex's Pizzeria & Pancake house. Avoid Ravioli House - they are very expensive and quality was okay (good but not for the price).
Acme grocery store is less than 5 mins away and they have a great chicken deal at the hot food counter. The local liquor stores were pricey so you may want to bring some wine bottles along with you. But very convenient to walk to pick up beers for the hotel patio (for the quiet evening in).
The beaches are very safe in Wildwood and North Wildwood. Cape May is beautiful and well worth the drive to see for the day, but you have to pay to access the beach and the water was more rough. Be ready to drive around for 15+ mins to find paid parking.

This is one of my favorite family vacation spots!!
This is one of my favorite family vacation spots!! Our hotel (Hotel Cabana) was awful, but Wildwood itself is just fantastic! Tons of good eats, lots of fun things to do like water parks, Moreys Pier, shopping etc.
Very very clean..
The location is amazing we walked to restaurants in town and the boardwalk was 5 minutes.
It is farther from the boardwalk to your umbrella on the beach.
The street is not too busy during the day and quiet at night.
Upstairs in the loft was perfect for kids 10 and 11,
They loved it was like their own apartment.
Kitchen is a good size with table. Two full bathrooms is perfect for the 6 of us.
Bedrooms are good with AC unit in each.
Definitely recommend to any family staying in Wildwood.
You can see the beach and boardwalk from the rooftop pool which is pretty nice. The BIG power box on the right though is a complete eye sore and looks 100% dangerous! This hotel is loud all hours of the day and night because of it's location. If I stayed in Wildwood again, I would probably stay further away from the boardwalk.
The staff couldn't be more welcoming and friendly, top notch! The room was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Internet is fast. Location is perfect, you are right where all the action is (we were there off season, so we were lucky to have the boardwalk almost exclusively to ourselves)
The location right across from the Wildwoods sign is perfect. The kitchen is nicely stocked (other than dish soap) and has a full sized fridge. The woman at check-in was very kind. I love that the place is pet friendly. The bed was comfortable.
I love all things mid century modern and that is what this hotel is about! Very cool vibes, great indoor lounge with retro decor. Super clean updated rooms. Coming back in June to enjoy in the summer time. Gem of Wildwood!
The boardwalk was deff close to the motel. It was surrounded by a lot of things that we could walk to. The owner was wonderful friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay.
The staff was polite and clean. The rooms were clean. The hotel couldn't have a better location; it is across the street from the Wildwoods sign which is about the middle of the boardwalk.
The property is the usual Wildwood hotel. Nothing fancy but a good/clean place for the price. The people were super friendly. I felt safe there and was made feel very welcome.
The free access to the pool and parking before check in. This let us park and walk across the road to the boardwalk and that is where the kid wanted to be.
The location was the best. Right on the boardwalk. They had parking in the lot. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The air conditioning worked.
